About
Nuclear Option is a combat flight game set on a dynamic and realistic battlefield of the near future. Use an array of advanced weapons to change the course of battles as you intercept bombers, duel fighters, fly under the radar, or unleash the fury of nuclear weapons on enemy formations.
Each aircraft comes with an immersive cockpit featuring a situational awareness HUD, identifying nearby targets and threats. Aircraft can be flown with various controllers or with a mouse-controlled "virtual joystick", requiring no special hardware.
Experience realistic flight dynamics, with stalls, spins and g-force effects fully implemented, as each aircraft is composed of up to 50 individually simulated physics parts . A highly detailed damage model means that the condition of each part affects the way your aircraft flies.
Build your own missions using the included mission editor, and then fly your mission solo or with friends in PVP or PVE multiplayer combat.

I wasn't expecting a MOBA. The game is surprisingly accessible if you use a controller. I wouldn't try doing a flight stick with this unless you have a very robust setup of auxiliary controls. Pretty mandatory to have a precise way to control your camera quickly to do snap missile targeting under stress, which a single flight stick will no doubt struggle with. The game is fun and rewarding enough that it got me, an absolute hater of esoteric controls, to learn how helicopters work. Baffling!

This is a great combat flight sim that remembers it is a game first. Competitors like DCS and War Thunder have more detailed cockpit models and flight systems (e.g. the whole process of locking onto a target is reduced to a single keypress here), which initially made me think this game wouldn't hold my attention for very long. In reality, Nuclear Option has been able to hold my attention longer than the others, because it actually builds an interesting game mode that accommodates various plane roles (ground/naval attack, armored vs. unarmored targets, high-altitude bombing, etc.) that doesn't devolve into air superiority team deathmatch like WT. It's also not a series of super detailed 3D Blender models like DCS; there is actually stuff *to DO* with your various vehicles here. Definitely recommend.
Not as complex as DCS but still a very good flight sim. Runs really well too. Only complaint is that the bots use almost all of your nukes and waste them.
This awesome game sits midway between DCS and Ace Combat in terms of complexity and that's a niche many people don't know they'd actually enjoy very much. I also love how the war unflods on the ground and on the waves as well, and you can contribute late in a match even with a cheap trainer aircraft. Nukes are rare enough that you have to plan the strike, you really do not want to waste them. Aircraft damage models are pretty detailed, and as long the plane remains roughly plane-shaped, you can limp back to base with some serious nicks. Radar detectibility matters and hugging the terrain is all-time classic tactic. Developers are active and updating frequently. Game runs smoothly, but there are occasional MP sync issues, nothing major. Perfectly playable with a controller, but you can use your HOTAS and TrackIR if you want.
Top, macht spaß, sehr schneller einstieg. Sandbox, sowie Missionen möglich. Regelmäßige Updates, und neue Fahrzeuge.
great game, between arcade and with some simulator, updates with new thing regulary
nice
the missiles are difficult to evde then in ace combat 7 then project wingman
