About
Explosively fast platforming action!
Bounce, pounce, and slide your way through fast-paced levels as Chaz, the radioactive cheetah! This retro platformer inspired by the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jazz Jackrabbit features a high skill ceiling, crispy pixel art, and a bangin’ MIDI-styled soundtrack.
Chaz receives an invitation to the Lynx Kingdom’s royal banquet, but when he arrives, he discovers that the evil Edward Eagle has taken Luna the Lynx Princess hostage, and wants the entire kingdom as ransom. Our unlikely hero stumbled into the Lynx castle at just the wrong time, and with the king too scared to act, it looks like Chaz is gonna have to defuse Edward’s scheme himself.
Nuclear Cheetah combines time attack platforming with a collect-a-thon progression system. Play through and master challenging stages, earn power orbs to unlock new areas of the castle, and save the princess; all while uncovering the story of how a once mild-mannered cheetah transformed into a green gangsta who eats toxic waste for breakfast.
Have a blast zooming through levels, chill out in the castle, and save the princess, along with the entire Lynx Kingdom. But whatever you do… don’t blow up!

I want to play through this whole game, because I love the art style, animations, characters, etc., but unfortunately I seem to have a skill issue, as I keep getting C and D ranks and can't progress past the first three levels. Seriously though, I like how you've put a lot of thought into the protagonist's life and career. He's like a "loser protagonist," for lack of a better term, which is rare for Sonic-type characters. He starts out in a blue-collar job before getting fired and living in a junkyard. It's a really interesting concept and it feels relatable.
This was such a good little game. it was worth the money, I loved it so much I 100% the game and S ranked every stage, even the secret final stage you get for getting all the orbs. I love this game so much!!!
AWESOME Game very nice and lots of replay value i would buy this game 5 times
If you like challenging Sonic-like games, fast-paced platforming, refining your skills for optimal level playthroughs, and a neat score-attack system to glue it all together, then this is the game for you. The controls have a bit of a learning curve, mostly with the bounce and timing moves right, but nothing major and really satisfying to use once you get a hold of things. They also have a good variety of locations and some power-ups sprinkled in here and there. I also feel that the game helps acclimate newer players well with its difficulty progression and a useful guide character to provide you with tips and tricks. While the game has a heavy emphasis on its rank and score-attack system, it's not too overbearing with getting the highest score for players that might struggle, and it adds a nice flavor to the way you look at and play the levels. The graphics, pixel art, and character designs are pretty neat and charming. There are some cinematics here and there that give me somewhat of an old-school edutainment game vibe with its artstyle, which I found quite cute and charming. Helped add a lot of character to the titular cheetah and his band of friends. It also has a plot. Nothing groundbreaking or complex, but it gets the job done and has its funny moments. It does make me curious about future continuations, especially seeing that the game got a recent update that added more content (albeit, just levels.) It is a pretty short playthrough. I 100% the main game in about 3-4 hours; it can probably be beaten faster. But it makes it quite easy to speedrun if you're into that, and, if anything, it just leaves me begging for more with how fun the game was! Overall, I had a great time! Short, sweet, and to the point. Here's to hoping we get some more Nuclear Cheetah!
It's... fine for what it's trying to do, but i wouldn't really want to see any one of my friends struggle to get an s rank in any of the levels. The vines are a ♥♥♥♥ gimmick imo
It strikes a good balance between being simple, accessible and challenging to master. The base game itself is a bit short but it has a lot of replay value and doesn't overstay its welcome. You can get a lot more mileage out of the game by trying for S-ranks on each stage, but it's not a requirement to beat the game and even casual levels of play is satisfying on its own. Definitely give it a go if you want something like the first Sonic game but with better handling, momentum and intentional level design built for speedrunning. My only regret is that I got it during the Steam sale, it's already a dirt cheap game and it feels bad to cut even more off from the price.
Great game. Not used to using a controller to play a game but I will get much better at it the more I practice. Level design is great and like the different themes for each level. I only made it to the first boss and liked the fight design of it. If you are looking for a good platformer game I highly recommend it.
I LOVE MIDI FILES
