About
Explosively fast platforming action!
Bounce, pounce, and slide your way through fast-paced levels as Chaz, the radioactive cheetah! This retro platformer inspired by the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jazz Jackrabbit features a high skill ceiling, crispy pixel art, and a bangin’ MIDI-styled soundtrack.
Chaz receives an invitation to the Lynx Kingdom’s royal banquet, but when he arrives, he discovers that the evil Edward Eagle has taken Luna the Lynx Princess hostage, and wants the entire kingdom as ransom. Our unlikely hero stumbled into the Lynx castle at just the wrong time, and with the king too scared to act, it looks like Chaz is gonna have to defuse Edward’s scheme himself.
Nuclear Cheetah combines time attack platforming with a collect-a-thon progression system. Play through and master challenging stages, earn power orbs to unlock new areas of the castle, and save the princess; all while uncovering the story of how a once mild-mannered cheetah transformed into a green gangsta who eats toxic waste for breakfast.
Have a blast zooming through levels, chill out in the castle, and save the princess, along with the entire Lynx Kingdom. But whatever you do… don’t blow up!

As the first person to buy and play this game, idk if its just my uber-autism but i havent stopped thinking about it since that first release trailer. this game is so cool, the controls are so fluid. I've never been so excited for a game to drop until nuclear cheetah, I literally spammed refresh so i could buy this game right at 12 and im hooked. Godspeed Nuclear Cheetah. and first. Upadate: Just played act 2 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the challenge adds so much more time to the game and ive played it so much to optimize my run, I've even gifted 2 friends the game, i hope they play it like I do! Great work as always spont! P.S you should make a discord.
Short and sweet fast paced platformer which doesn't do anything too crazy, but it's simple to pick up and has an okay amount of replay value for the price. Currently I have no draw to 100% it though, as there were a few sections of three levels in particular that have bad frame drops. That and the bounce move is frustrating in that if you're moving left or right before bouncing, you immediately gain momentum which makes some of the brief segments where you're having to platform vertically back and forth more frustrating than they should be. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if this wasn't a score attack game, and these hinder your ability to get a better score and obtain certain power orbs.
Short and fun, nice replay value.
So back in the early 2000s, when we had dial-up and it took an eternity just to download tens of megabytes, I would spend a lot of my free time playing games from whatever corners of the internet I could find them in. Sometimes emulation, sometimes flash games, certainly a lot of stuff from AOL Games. But probably the most frequented corner of the internet for me is the Sonic Fan Games HQ. Which means that I ended up playing a lot of games made in Clickteam engines; lots of games with slippery physics struggling to emulate the Genesis originals without slopes or loop-de-loops, and a metric ton of MIDI renditions of game music that I wouldn't recognize until I played the games they came from years later. They weren't the greatest games, but damn if they weren't responsible for shaping at least part of my taste in gaming today. Nuclear Cheetah feels exactly like a lost game from that point in my life that I'm only just now discovering. Thank you for making this.
Really fun game with solid pixel art and phenomenal music! You can beat it in under 2 hours, but despite that it's definitely worth it's price. Highly recommended!
There's a recent neither Sonic nor Pizza Tower have levels that consist of 90% instant $%&*'ing death pits, if you're gonna design a fast paced physics platformer then don't make it so i have to precision platform tiptoe around every level
This is a fun little game! It is very much on the "short and sweet" side of things, and can be completed 100% in 3 hours or so, but there's plenty of fun to be had in those 3 hours. The controls are simple but snappy, and it's very satisfying to zoom through levels once you're familiar with the layouts. The game is very much built around speedrunning each level, and it has a near-instant quick retry option to go with it, which is super useful for grinding out runs. The bosses feel a little meh, they're just not that engaging to play, but they're not *bad* either. And the final boss does make for a very cool ending. Overall, I had a great time playing this, and I happily recommend it for speedrun enthusiasts.
I reccomend it. even though it has a few issues like frame-rate drops in some parts and a few instances where the platforms are just far enough for you to reach. but it is a short and enjoyable platformer.
This was such a good little game. it was worth the money, I loved it so much I 100% the game and S ranked every stage, even the secret final stage you get for getting all the orbs. I love this game so much!!!
I want to play through this whole game, because I love the art style, animations, characters, etc., but unfortunately I seem to have a skill issue, as I keep getting C and D ranks and can't progress past the first three levels. Seriously though, I like how you've put a lot of thought into the protagonist's life and career. He's like a "loser protagonist," for lack of a better term, which is rare for Sonic-type characters. He starts out in a blue-collar job before getting fired and living in a junkyard. It's a really interesting concept and it feels relatable.
