Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As the once-great Roman Empire falls into decadence and decay, you lead a small band of citizens in search of new lands hoping to build Nova Roma – a bastion for all that was once good in the Empire. Starting from a humble village, you must appease the gods with grand temples, sate your citizens’ many needs, and build a society that will be the envy of the world for millennia to come.

A wise city planner knows how to harness the world around them. Erect massive dams and aqueducts to control the flow of water as you reshape the land into artificial watersheds and reservoirs, paying close attention to how your actions impact soil fertility, or how a particularly rainy season might flood your city. Seek distant resource deposits and build infrastructure to transport raw materials and processed goods across massive stretches of untamed territory. Will you strike a delicate balance between the growing urban sprawl of your city and the risks of rapid expansion? Or will your hubris risk the wrath of the gods and nature itself?

Contend with a growing list of needs and desires as more people flock to your city – from pottery and wine to bread and games, it is your responsibility to keep the people happy and safe. Watch them grow into artisans, gladiators and thespians, and guide them through life as they spend their days toiling, and their nights enjoying the fruits of their labor.

As you consider matters of taxation and technological advancement, do not forget the powers that stand above you - build grand temples to the gods, avoiding their wrath and seeking their blessings to bolster your capabilities and ensure the continued prosperity of Nova Roma.
Featuring intricate water and weather simulations and the ever-present threat of divine intervention, Nova Roma explores the cultural, and social trials of the era. Take charge of your small Roman town and grow it into a bustling metropolis that will stand the test of time!

Reviews
Nice game. Loved the water management system. Only criticism would be that resources like iron are sometimes scarce or too far spread out in the map. But that also adds to the natural flow of expansion. Looking forward to the future updates!

this is a great game i would recommend this to literally anyone even if u don't like this genre BUT in MY option kingdoms and castles is still better but either way imma put many more hours into this game and you should too
It's so much fun! This is truly an excellent piece of work.
After the amazing game Kingdoms and Castles which I put a couple of hundred hours into, I am impressed with this game! I really enjoy the increased risks of flooding, water physics, and the water distribution system that not only makes your city look amazing but also adds another layer of planning that make your city feel more alive, and personal. Even with the game still being in development it is fun, and I am excited for the future.
it's wonderful!! I love it!! Comparing it to Caesar 3, I would love seeing houses evolve, also having more specific control of finances and people (how many are living in small houses, how many are ill, etc) More animals and food like cattle, sheeps, cheese, fleece, milk, figs, oranges, a different image for salted fish. More jobs and competitions, barbers, tailors, schools and education, gymanasiums or palestras to make atheletes and to send them to Olympic games, as well as the best actors and philosophers. Healthcare as Asklepieions or healing centers, I would love gardens for decorations, and mosaics artisans makers. As well as you can see the horse racing "live" it could be more short live-scenes like this, for example best public speech at forums, or rich people could organise "conviviums" (like dinners at home, and loose or win reputation depending on how it went) I will also love to be able to slow down the velocity of the game. Hope that helps!
This is a really fun city builder for hardcore lovers of the genre. I love the way that you can arrange the job board to prioritize your workers. Planning and building the water supply is super fun. I'm really looking forward to watching this game develop.
前期还挺有意思,玩到1000多人口就不知道要干嘛了
A great game if you like the Roman Empire, really has that vibe and feeling of those ages, and really good job with those Gods, currently there are five Gods, Jupiter, Vulcan, Ceres, Mars and Neptune, there will be added 4 more as i saw, and in development tree some things are coming soon, so jump in and play this game.
Spending a LOT of time with this - just my kind of fun! Things that I wish were easier - setting up supply lines, so local storage for a farm, sending goods to central stores, then distributing to the local housing/store supplies. BUG: Once I get so far into a game, the musical alert for an invasion beginning doesn't start and I only notice once half the map's on fire because I've been zoomed in managing some upgrade or whatever.
