Boring after 2 minutes - Pass....
I want a refund and I didn't even spend a penny on this.
I didn't want to believe the other reviews for some reason, but trust me when I say it's not that good. Even at a discount it isn't that good. I could name you like 4 other idles that are much better and FREE.
The armory still has several bad bugs. I rolled over my bank amount past 999Y, and now it not only has 0 shown, but gives 0 when withdrawn. There are many store shops which do not show the correct gold number for the amount. Some have number notation, some continue up with really long numbers instead, some can't handle the high numbers and show zero (the bank, which eats your money if it rolls over). Posted: Jun 12 @ 8:23pm Small game with basic graphics, and auto-saves. There is a CPU slowing bug in the armory. Idk how to circumvent that. Just get in, get done, get out. I've beaten it. Collected all the achievements. There are 6 fighting areas, each one dramatically harder. After you beat the end castle, you can increase the level of all the areas by moving "forward", or pressing "next". It is a simple and straight forward game. Its saving grace was the story in the beginning, now that I think back. I closed it and opened it and noticed new buttons in certain areas. There are 2 locations in town which require DLC to access. This game was free to play when I grabbed a copy.
Man, I really don't write reviews. I'll make an exception. This was on my wishlist for a long time. I really enjoy buying games from small and lone developers. I especially like things in the idle genre because so much of the games are normally experimental. I assumed that would be the case here because the graphical quality was so obviously sprite based. I was really excited, for some reason, about what this game might entail. This game has 5 enemies. In order to beat the game you just need to kill the fifth enemy. You only have to kill each enemy a single time. The final "boss" (enemy) has 800 health. You can get to this point in... really essentially no time at all. ~45 minutes maybe? I'm not really sure. I didn't know how barren this game was before I left it idling overnight expecting to have actual gameplay. There are immense amounts of bugs. The story is *incredibly* bare bones. What you see in the description is basically it. "You play as Kurt, a Knight in training, and your task is to feed up Kurt's stats so that he can improve in Strenth and be able to defeat the tougher monsters found on the outsirts of Norega." That's the ENTIRE story. Like... there's some dialog in the middle and at the end but it just didn't work for me at all? So.... that's the entire story. The game ends with you being in front of the king after you've killed 5 people. What a bizarre money grab. The time in the game is a reflection of my disbelief. I really can still hardly believe that there's nothing more to do in this game. I *actually* don't understand the point of the expansions as well. You don't need the stats to complete the "story". This is the absolute worst kind of money grab.
Terrible UI, very confusing. Boring progression arc.
