I don't recommend color-blind people to play this game. The game uses a lot of similar colors, with purple and white dominating the screen. However, the shades can make it hard to distinguish between text and the background. Other than that, the color looks soft and doesn't hurt the eye when you play it for a long time. The pictures themselves follow the Halloween theme, revealing a bunch of pictures in that category. Top it off with the spooky music, and you'll have the ideal relaxing game for your Halloween needs.

As a [i]Nonogram[/i] game, [i]Nonogram Halloween[/i] comes with a lot of QoL features. You can measure the length with a mouse click, you can zoom in and out and pan around the area, and the clue numbers will be dimmed as you color the pixels. It makes it easy to finish the levels, although sadly, there are no gamepad controls. I played with a [i]Steam Deck[/i] and while it's still possible to use the trackpad to move around, I still wished that I could use the D-pad to color the cells.
The game has 58 levels. It was separated into 5 stages, most containing 10 levels each. The puzzle size will increase as the stage goes higher, ending up with 25x25 puzzles. However, the game doesn't unlock all levels right away; you need to finish the majority of the puzzles in the previous stages to unlock the next one. While this is understandable to make most people familiar with the size before going to the more difficult one, this doesn't sit right with me. I'd rather tackle the harder ones first, leaving the easy ones last, or do it whenever I don't want to think too much when playing a game.

I finished the game in 8.7h. Most puzzles are easy to solve. Some 25x25 levels can be challenging to solve, but they aren't too difficult and won't require any guessing. If you are stuck, it's mostly because you overlooked some sections rather than anything. Thus, solving the levels can be done quickly as long as you know how a [i]Nonogram[/i] works.

[i]Nonogram Halloween[/i] is a game that gives exactly what you expect from the title: it's a [i]Nonogram[/i] with a Halloween theme. Most of the puzzles are easy enough to solve and they can be finished fairly quickly, making it a perfect game to finish over the weekend.
