I supported the development of this game for almost a year on Patreon and was hoping for something more fleshed out but... it's really not worth the asking price currently if I am being honest. It feels a bit more like a tech demo meant more to show off the authors VR models that they sell, it's very barebones in it's current release state, there's only a few actual scenes in it with the rest of them being "fade to black". Also you are forever stuck in the role of "prey" with your only recourse being to shove people away or push boxes in to them or running away, I know the game is already a very niche genre but it still feels very lacking. The game also does a poor job of telling you what you need to accomplish other then "Find a way home". On a technical level, this game is very barebones, [strike]it's stuck in fullscreen at max resolution with only a quality slider and no options to change to windowed mode.[/strike] The gameplay is also incredibly simplistic with somewhat janky movement controls and seemingly halfassed platforming mechanics. Edit: They have since added the ability to change resolution and added the ability to change to windowed or fullscreen, but my point remains. Also, while I know this is a Unity game, the lack of any real way to mod it currently is kind of eh. At the end of the day, if your just looking for horny content, there are many free alternatives to satisfying this then spending $15 on this.
You know, I wanted to make a joke review about how this game seems pro-Canadian with all the flags... But this game is so bad, and with development already being "concluded", I want to tell people why this is up there as one of the worst games on Steam I've ever played. I gave it a bit to see if it would get better, but no - it looks like it's becoming worse. This game is a glorified fetish tech demo. You can fully complete it in under an hour. A $15 price point is insane, even more so with how bad the actual game has in terms of content. The demo of this game on Itch.io is pretty much the same as the full game itself. It plays like a platformer, with you having to deliberately lose to progress in any meaningful fashion. Said unlocks then allow you to literally go out-of-bounds and break the game, forcing you back to the spawn point. Another insult is that the game assumes you've never played any game before, and actively shows you the controls in the top right nonstop, regardless of settings. This cannot be removed, and is the equivalent of a watermark. Trying to cut out the UI/UX inside the game while a scene is playing just skips it entirely. Almost all of the sequences are VR mocapped, but have no major rigging/bones added, so half the time, the animations are clipping through the character(s). It makes everything super whack looking for sure. It's your average VRChat level experience in terms of collision. On top of that, most of the characters are asset flipped from Unity and Blender. Any other assets seem to be pretty generic in terms of content shown, as if it's from base Unity itself. In terms of fetish content, it's got OV, CV, CTF, and Digestion/Weight Gain. I personally never found the Unbirth sequences listed in the description of this game. You play as "Prey" and stay as that throughout the entirety of the game. Nothing else changes. The developer also refuses to let modding take place, or have Steam Workshop Integration. Another thing it does is kill your immersion. The game will actively put you into a third person perspective/eagle eye perspective for 90% of the time. The remaining 10% is in first-person, and you end up having it ruined by a literal box in the top right to show the exterior perspective. With the controls for the character still there. Despite all of this, I feel terrible for your Patreon subscribers though as well as Itch.io fans. You actively disable and remove criticisms of the game, and tell people that it's got replay value despite it resulting to be a one-and-done thing. I congratulate you guys, as you developed a super effective exit scam, as making over $1.6k+ (At time of writing) a month in revenue for multiple years should've amounted to more than this. Assuming they made at least $1,000+ per month, we're looking at over $25,000 based on development time for a pure tech demo. That alone should be a red flag to any potential future buyers, and to people willing to invest in the developer's content. TL;DR - This game is "complete" to the developers, and will not be worked on further. Save your money, download the demo, and look elsewhere for a game related to vore. This game doesn't respect you, your time, your money, or your fetish; walk away. And this is coming from a decades long fan of said kink. The only reason this game isn't reviewbombed harder is because most of the negative reviews came from Patreon keys, thus making an "Official Review" not weighed on the Store Page.
This game price should be lowered to five dollars due to how little content this has, also need a workshop for the price to be worth even ten dollars. it too short of a game for the price.
Took me few tries under very short amount to complete the game. The price is bit high for a game with very little content, no lore. Personal thought: I expected to at least able to become "Hunter" in the end, instead of stuck as a pathetic "prey".
a bit to short for the asking price. around 30 min of game play. more if you choose to explore. not many vore games on steam so i say it was worth it.
Well this game is good for a quick play, but its not good for its price! I would say if they lowered the price down to like 5$ it would make sense for the quality of the game. No hatred towards the makers of this, its a really good project, its just depressing that it feels super jank, and very off... I would say don't buy this till they make it have more content, and fixes.
Definitely not a 15 dollar game.
it's price is a little high for what you get, but still a good game, hope to see it grow
game might be better with more updates but its currently unplayable! you dont have the ability to turn content you might dislike, please give us actual settings I want to turn off ♥♥♥♥ unbirth, the game contains rape and theres no way to fight against it... only 2 of the characters actually have ai, I bought the game looking at the bird girl and you cant even interact with 80% of the npcs! the town feels empty, if you want my advice go play the demo on itch.io this game costing 15$ makes no sense because its got the same content as the free demo... please make the game like an open world social ai focused dating style game, at the moment it feels like a stupid free roam empty town and your barely trying to get eaten... not at all a good game and im sad, we need more vore games on the market... all I can say is im glad the dragon girl working the gas station at least asks for permission and im very happy the devs included an internal view, as a prey bird myself internal views are always amazing, although itd be cool to see the prey inside gooey digestion etc also as I said im a bird so changing the player model would be preferable
the vore and noises are hot ill say that but it took me 20 mins to beat the game for 15$ i was expecting more and note i had explored but i also beat it without double jump as i did not know how to get to it (i did figure it out 12 mins later) but either way game worth it to me even if it is really short
