An interesting take on medieval English folklore, combining semi-historical myths and proper legends into a near-seamless whole.

Really fun game, wish there were more like it! Bought on IOS and Steam :)
Its quite good. A little bit, choose your own adventure, a (really) little bit management sim. The story is nice, even if it has problems. You can play it multiple times to see how it pans out, but I would take some notes the first time around, if I were you, a few negatives (: - the seasonal-autosave-only system clashes with a system, where some choices cause you to miss dialogue, because you can`t back out sometimes, even if you should be able to. Example, you can talk to X characters and there is the opportunity to spend the day with someone. You go to someone to interest you first and then have the choice. Spend the day with him/her and never talk to the rest or talk to the rest and don`t spend the day with him (instead of going back) or reload the autosave and do all the things agains that lead to this. - its a little bit to oldschool:at some points, you better take notes, at one point you better draw a map, - and it would help , if you knew a little bit arthurian legend and greek myths - the ending isn`t bad, but its very short (Small spoiler: keep some Power, you have to pay fpr your good ending.), even for your romantic choice and it seems, some choices are more integrated into the story than others. Last but not least, I would have liked more meat on the romantic bone, so to speak. tl;dr you get your moneys worth. A fine game, with a few issues.
A fun, interactive story with some strategic, base-building and battle elements included. An engaging blend of histories and mythologies from the region with magic, faeries and goblins, dragons, and more. The only complaint, as with all games including choice, is not fully understanding what a short, text-based choice actually means - until you choose it. Compounded with the way the game forces you to reload at check points, rather than being able to save and reload at any point, the game can feel frustrating when your understanding of the choices is not in line with the intention of the writers. Still, all in all I recommend this game for people not afraid of text-focused gaming. After completing one story, it is clear that there is great potential for re-playability.
It's fun. It has a couple playthroughs worth of material. Got it on sale and don't regret it one bit.
A surprising find! As I started I wasn't terribly impressed with the whole 'choose your own adventure' part. But what had interested me in the game was the base management part and when I got to it, I did enjoy it. Everything is text-based but you're still managing your resources and power to win over factions. And believe me, WORK on that faction rep before the final showdown! Fortunately I was able to squeeze by. Overall, I did one play-through in about five hours just taking my time. It did seem to have a bit of an abrupt end but I think there's also a small re-playability aspect to this game. I'd recommend however I'd wait for it to go on sale since I think $20 is still a bit steep.
Before getting into the review, i wanna say that i was expectiing this game to be more story/ visual novel/ making story decisions and less management. While the game starts out the way i had expected, it eventually turns into more of a "you are in your base and need to make decisions regarding your people and ressources" kinda thing. The game is generally well written and a lot of fun to clock through. It often is a wall of text tho, so be aware of that before you buy. The atmosphere is really cool, i liked the options regarding my character and the love interest character. The story options are also really nice and i had a blast in the beginning. For me the gameplay got very boring when i had established a base and then had to go through years and years of planning, managing and walking aorund the same few maps. Yes, there was still stuff to be done but the cool story segments i loved so much in the beginning were really tuned down to a tiny amount. For some, maybe even most players, this strategy part is the best part of the game. it is well done and you can probably go really in depth with your planning, too. It just couldn't keep my attention and i am not sure i will continue playing it for that very reason.
I LOVE this game. It's well written and thought out, different choices change things up enough to give great replay value, overall just fantastic. I was a little disappointed to see the person who made it hasn't put anything else out on Steam, I would love to see another game like this with King Arthur or some other legend but if we only get this one game, it's a great one and I'm glad I got it. If you like this style of game or are a fan of the tales of Robin Hood, its a lot of fun. 10/10
This game is so good, I would pay full price! If you love Choice games or CYOA books and games, you will love this game. It's clearly a labor of love with the branching storylines, secrets, knowing nods, pictures to go with the story, and music. I love that you can be a male or female Robin and follow the many possible backgrounds and stories the Robin Hood legend holds. The gameplay is fun and replayable. It's also great to see your Sherwood base change and grow through the story by your choices through the text and the graphics. The main things that could be improved is better male romance options and achievements. If you love CYOA games, I would not hesitate to recommend this as an excellent game with replayability. If you are also a fan of Robin Hood games, then what are you waiting for?
