About
Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.
Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon, VOYAGERS (6.0), Remnant, Xeno Arena and The Swarm.
And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.
Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).
An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.
At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.
Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.
Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.
The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Reviews
After I get the terrain manipulator I cant use the mining beam. This is a problem because the game starts you on a planet with a hazardous atmosphere (mine was radiation) so you need to use the mining beam to extract resource needed to recharge your suit's protection. The only solution I can find is to dismantle my terrain manipulator to (hopefully) get the mining beam which is absolutely annoying ( or if there is a proper way to switch between the two then the game doesn't tell you how).
Good!

I gave it an honest try but I find the game is almost unplayable without constantly searching YouTube videos and online forums to make up for minimal in-game storyline guidance and bugs. Most disappointing
Gameplay- ☐ Very good ☑ Good (18 quintillion planets across 256 galaxies btw) ☐ Nothing special ☐ Okay ☐ Bad Graphics- ☐ Masterpiece ☑ Beautiful (good luck finding a pleasant paradise planet with blue skies and green grass) ☐ Good ☐ Will do ☐ Bad ☐ Awful Audio ☐ Amazing ☐ Very good ☑ Good (no dialogues except from your talking backpack... unless you understand alien language) ☐ Decent ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad Audience ☐ Kids ☐ Teens ☐ Adults ☑ Everyone (just explosions and green blood from fauna) Story- ☐ Lovely ☐ Good ☑ Average (ending depends on your choices) ☐ Not great ☐ None Difficult- ☐ Just press a bunch of buttons ☑ Easy (WASD) ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Not so easy ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls Grind- ☐ Nothing ☐ Only if you care about leaderboards/ranks ☑ Isnt necessary to progress (you can still do lots of things without touching the main storyline) ☐ A bit grindy sometimes ☑ Average grind level (grind depends on you, based on your ambition) ☐ Too much grind ☐ Insanity Game Time- ☐ Short ☐ Average ☐ Long ☑ Depends on you ☑ Endless (minecraft) Price ☐ Just buy it ☑ Worth the price (Hello Games put in a lot of work for a game that has free DLCs, buying the full price feels like pirating the game because of how frequent they add free DLCs that introduces new mechanics and content for the game. It's like the Sims franchise but not greedy, where if you buy the base game, you now own ALL DLCs. ☐ Wait for sale ☐ Maybe if you have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended
