Development has ended!
It is a fun little game that has a few quarks so far and a great way to test vr gear when you are new to it. I would only get it on 5$ sale though.
okay so ill admit its glitchy a little rough around the edges. sometimes it feels unfair how you died. but a super overlooked feature is that another player can play on your pc while in vr as drone. that is actauly so fun. im not gonna lie i played with my mom who's not technologically inclined and it was so intuitive she managed to do it, so it gets a good rating for helping me have fun with me mom after so many games just didn't,
its an abandoned game
The fact that this game has been on steam for this long without any form of update to locomotion is an insult... this has to be the absolute worst implementation of movement in vr i have literally ever experienced...... and i have played porn games.......
I bought this game a bit more than a year ago, probably because it was on sale or something, but didn't play a lot. Only recently, when I asked chatGPT or some good VR open world survival games and this was amongst its recommendations, I picked it up again. Now I have no idea why I didn't play that much. I love it. It's simply one of the best games I've ever played. Although I encountered some bugs (i.e. I could breathe outside the space station without my mask), I don't regret buying it. I could spend days in this game if my VR headset (Oculus Quest 2) would let me. And speaking of oculus quest 2, it works really well on that. The controlls aren't weird or anything. The only issue I have with the controlls is that by default, grabbing is set to the trigger button, but that's not really a problem because you can set it to the grab button very quickly. A few features that I think would be great are that if you open a door to space while having air in your station, it would suck you out, The option to rotate, which would eliminate the feeling of up and down a bit (Of course you should be able to turn that off and on in case you suffer from motion sickness), and the ability to hide the "Press enter to control drone" that shows on the desktop, so you could record your gameplay and put it on youtube or stream it on twitch. Other than that, the game simply is a 10/10, altough I'm not entirely sure yet if the full price of the game is worth it. Another thing that I want to add is that when I play this game, I feel like time is passing very slowly, although it's fun.
Not recommended. Tracking is broken so the camera and arms are half way under ground making the UI 8 feet above your head, even when standing with no options or adjustments.
I keep trying to like this game. I just cant. Every time I go out from the hab. Something hits the hab. I then dont have enough materials to repair it. I run of oxy then die. Then when I do get enough to repair it. I dont have any materials to build the quest tutorial plant box. While Im getting the material. The hab gets hit again. Then I dont have enough materials to fix it. Then I die becuase i couldnt eat any food. Rinse, repeat.
A broken mess. But a fun broken mess. It was enjoyable for what it's worth. And definitely has potential. If only it wasn't abandoned. If you can see past the broken parts of it all, you can definitely have fun. It's easy, and doesn't have much of a difficulty curve. Unless you try to fight the thingies that spawn when using the beacon. (Hint: Use your drone to fight them. But be warry of physics.)
Love it
I love this game, Its so simple in its game play but executed so well the only thing that makes me come out of the VR world is my back giving in. How much do I like it? Well i'm being very sad and making a T.V show using in game footage. Embarrassing myself for the love of this game. think that proves my point.
-The concept is neat, but the execution left something to be desired. It has potential, but it didn't quite hook me.
