William the master cuck likes to watch his target that captured his waifu absorb jo crystals and slowly teleport away to next mission about like 10 times. He also gets rejected by tomboy ninja so he decides to reunite with his husbando ninja 16 years later.
Not friendly to new players, even less so to keyboard and mouse users. There are too few online guides, most of which are incorrect. The main criticism is the lack of UI prompts for keyboard and mouse players!
I guess the developers wanted to give 1/2 the player base the middle finger. Why would you make a game so hard that only the try hard's and basement dwellers can make any progress? It's beyond me. Would refund if I could. 26 hours in and no closer to beating the second main mission boss than I was at 18 hours. Ridiculous. Sorry but I'm not a stay at home spouse. And people wonder why gaming is dying. Almost every enemy you encounter has a one shot ability and if you die all of the trash you just spent 25 mins killing respawns upon death. If you get frustrated with ridiculousness, stay away from this game. EDIT: Most unbalanced game I've ever played. Bosses that require you to be literally perfect and take 15 plus mins to defeat. The rotation is dodge x 15 run away, swing once, doing 300 damage and repeat for 15 mins. SO MUCH FUN. Not even 1/2 the people that bought this game on steam have beat the second areas boss. Says I'm on the right side of history here.

Really great game but one thing almost made me drop the game a few times. I rant about that at the end of the review. There are so many systems and combos and stuff and at first it can be overwhelming. Most of it you can skip depending on your play style. There’s a combo system in the skill tree that I never bothered with. I can’t parry for crap so I also ignored all those skills. There’s a weapon forge system that I have no idea how it works. You get new weapons all the time so it only matters for NG+. The stance change is a neat idea going from power attack (High), less attack more defensive (Mid), and light fast attack (Low). I kept it on Mid and never changed it. High was too slow and Low was too weak even with the faster attacks. YOU CAN PAUSE THE GAME!!! Dark Souls/Elden Ring take notes. You open the menu then press another button to pause. You can get stamina (Ki, in game stamina is a different stat…) back by timing the Ki burst to keep the pressure on. I kept forgetting to use it at first but it is pretty good once you get used to it, especially from a more aggressive style like I use. The beginning was a bit of a mess. You just get dropped in the game and when you finish the prologue then you get a tutorial about all the systems and then the real game starts. I was having trouble in the prologue not really knowing what to do. Feels a bit weird to have the tutorial of how to play a bit after you start and fight a boss. There is equip weight with different speed tiers like Dark Souls but unlike Souls, weapons don’t have weight. It’s nice to not have to worry about a heavy weapon taking up space. Weapons also don’t have a stat requirement so you can use any weapon when you get it. Now armor does have stat requirements but not the same way Dark Souls works on weapons. There are bonuses that work if you have the stats. You can use any armor if you have the equip weight but you might not get the extra perks. Also this is a loot drop game with common, uncommon, rare weapons and armor. You get a lot of the same weapon and armor but some are blue and that’s better. I can set my sword on Fire! There are two ways to do it. One is with the Fire Amulet that is a consumable item like Dark Souls. The other is a Fire Talisman that resets on “bonfires”. Knowing I can use it as much as I want means I’ll actually use it. I tend to never mess with consumable items. I also got a weak ranged attack that resets with the “bonfire”. There are a bunch of elements and each has a different effect. Fire causes burning, water lowers defense, lightning slows down, poison and paralysis does what you think. Not sure what wind, earth or ice does. THE REALLY BAD PART! The thing I hate most about the game are the run backs. Almost every boss is about 15-20 seconds from a shrine (a few even longer). It sucked in Dark Souls and it sucks here. It basically doubles the time it takes if you have a bunch of bad starts. There is absolutely no reason why you can’t have a shrine outside the boss room. There were a few times I got so mad at the run backs I almost dropped the game. At 30 hours and a few times between 40-50 hours played. I’m glad I kept going but one of those times I said after an hour of the run back making me so mad “another 30 minutes and if I don’t beat the boss by then I’ll never play the game again.” I had 8 minutes left. The worst part is that the bosses are great (well, a lot of them at least). There were a few (very few) bosses with almost no run backs and that was so fun and felt so good. It really made the game better. Why can’t every boss be like that? There is absolutely no reason to have them. It really brings down an otherwise great game. JUST PUT A SAVE OUTSIDE THE BOSS ROOM!
畜生关卡
Divertido y con estilo.
if you like samurai and katanas like i do this game is right up you're ally
