it's cool, i like it, but i also really hate it. it has the problem i have been running into with some souls like games and i feel like changing it would make it..... nicer. i'll get to it when i talk about gameplay. so the story is that you were kidnapped by the villain so they can steal the guardian spirit that saved your life, to use as a vessel to absorb crystalized life energy to dominate the world by keeping it in war to continue gaining more power. through it you end up meeting many historical people. as you meet them you come to realis that every one of them has had a guardian of their own, which makes sense how they have become famous and well known for what they have done. it's honestly super cool to have that as a subtle/ish idea for them. each person has a unique spirit that guards them which offers you some gameplay benefits when they gift their spirit to help you fight the man who stole your spirit. uh, graphically, it still holds up. it looks good, and has really good lighting to it. areas are cool to explore, and they also kind of stand out from one another. with the multiple times i played through this game, i can remember some areas clearly, but in the wrong order that they appear in game. so i'd say it is decent at being memorable. the weapons and armor look gorgeous though. you get some really basic things, some fancy stuff, and when you get to legendary weapons known through history, they are one of a kind. music is fine. i can't really say there is a track that sticks in my head. it works and can be cool. but i don't really think there is anything that really felt like it was something i would love to listen to on repeat level good. gameplay gives me some problems, and it is more because of enemies, or scaling or something. team ninja was known as one of the originally hardest games ever made when ninja gaiden came out. this game is definitly difficult for sure. but enemy variety is really good. going from humans, to many oni/demons. and while i don't really know a lot of japanese mythology, it is amazing how much stuff there is. not only is there that, but as you kill them you get little bits of lore about them so you can learn about what these monsters are known for. my problem with enemies is that.... i run into this problem where, some games make enemies do too much damage. there is nothing wrong with making things hard or punishing but making basic mid to large sized enemies as well as bosses have the ability to hit you for 90% of your health is just stupid. it takes out the tension of fighting something tough because you either play perfectly or you die instantly. i know some people think that not dying instantly makes a game not hard at all, but i personally think being able to make mistakes and learn from your fights with these enemies makes fighting them more memorable as well as increasing how stressful a fight can be. if you die in one or two hits, it gets to a point where you kind of just mindlessly rush the enemy until you either nuke them, or get lucky meaning you never really get a chance to learn or have fun. i think the last thing i can talk about is more gameplay, but revolving around the weapons and skill system. it's really fun and unique. as you play the game or do missions, or explore in the missions themselves, you can gain 'weapon familiarity' where as you use weapons and level them up you get skill points that you can then use to unlock skills for any weapon. this goes from allowing you basic moves to being able to make combo strings to change up what moves are in place allowing you to become actually skills. it is simple but reflects your skill with a weapon making you feel like you are actually mastering a weapon. you can also do this with ninjutsu, and onmyo. basically free tools or magic. you can also find locks of hair for weapons, or these two other things which give you a huge edge on your playstyle. being able to buff weapons attack at range, or cure yourself of ailments.
10/10 good Nioh soup
即使有點年代,依舊好玩,劇情豐富,裝備與招式的變化可以玩很久,加上近幾年的特價折數,CP值很高。
