Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This is the near perfect game for me. Yes, its difficult but life is difficult.
Genuinely the greatest action game of all time. I love the soulsborne series, but in terms of combat and mechanical depth Nioh 2 is stands tall above all other souls-like games. At only 67 hours in I have completed my first playthrough, though I am aware that this is only the beginning of Niohs true gameplay experience, and am eager to see what Team Ninja has in store for me. 9/10, please buy this game, its almost always on sale and the dollar to playtime ratio is incomparable to most games.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Having just beaten Nioh 2 and Nioh 1 earlier this year I can say that Nioh 2 is without a doubt better in every way than the original. That isn't to say, however, that the game doesn't still have some glaring issues. The biggest pro for this game is for sure the combat system. They fixed one of my biggest disappointments with Nioh 1 by adding what they call "Burst Counters". This mechanic acts as the game's true parry system; I really enjoyed using them, and it made the game a lot easier for me personally. While on the topic of difficulty, I found Nioh 2 to be much easier than the original. The game also looks nice and runs great, I didn't experience a single crash in my 40 hour playthrough. The skill tree has been greatly improved and was a lot easier to understand compared to Nioh 1. The level design has also been improved; it's not perfect, but it's a definite improvement. When it comes to the story, I did find it better than Nioh 1, but it still isn't the focal point. This is fine for me, as I don't play Soulslikes for the narrative. The two biggest negatives for me are the lack of enemy variety (yet again, as this was also a big issue in Nioh 1). Because of the addition of Burst Counters, I didn't mind fighting the same enemy 100 times as much, but it is still disappointing that the enemy pool is so small. My other major complaint is the fact that there are levels in this game that are copied and pasted directly out of Nioh 1. It surprises me that I don't see this talked about more often. Both of these issues feel more like laziness from the devs than anything else. Also, the UI can be a little confusing and could be streamlined better for the player. 8.2/10
pos ta chido, mejor que el lords of the fallen sin duda
The best action game ever made
It seems this door must be opened from the other side. Felt like a looong nioh 1 dlc... not bad i guess, but bruh does it take a while to get the sauce back... for a sequel i expected to do cool shii from the start not when the game was about to end. 7 otakemarus out of 10.
one of the best action combat games ever made, the sheer breadth of player customization in terms of weapon swapping, build crafting, moveset customization, guardian spirit swapping, yokai abilities... it's almost dizzying, but there is just so much game to play that you will have plenty of time to get accustomed with the game systems, and when you truly GET the game, there's nothing else quite like it. a game with a strong combat system is nothing without having strong enemy and level designs, and nioh 2 is full of fun, cruel enemies and enemy encounters within fun and cruel levels, and the bosses... it's all too good. the only problem with nioh 2 is that you'll compare every soulslike and action game you play afterwards to it, because it's just that good. best game ever
