Poop Metroidvania. I'm surprised how much I actually liked this game, and how well it's build. The art will probably keep a lot of people away but it's not so bad when you get in to it. The ingame map could use some work since it can be a bit hard to read. (However, I don't understand the title because the only "ninja" thing is the bandanas. Sure "Ninja Turdle" is a fun phun...)
Very fun and challenging platformer. Reminds me of the good ole days of Metroid, etc. Ready to dive back into it and help save Steve!
It has been a fun journey with this game. :) Initially, I was having some trouble but the developer was EXTREMELY kind enough to help me out. Now to get back to the game...

Fanstastic little indie gem that is much deeper and better than I thought it would be from just scanning the trailer! Watch some gameplay on this stream and go to about 2 hrs, and 8 min into the stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ronFRuEDUZ8&t=2856s Definitely worth the price!
Very fun game, had a blast play testing it. If you want a casual experience I would recommend the normal mode, but if you are the type of gamer ( like me ) that enjoys a good challenge on the first try then you should go for hard mode.
It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ metroid-esque adventure platformer! So much fun trying to speed-run through to save Steve and just the right amount of frustrating. Clever bosses, and the perfect soundtrack to encourage your girlfriend ask you if you can please use headphones. Easily the best $5 spent I've spent today.
This is actually a rather good game for a parody metroidvania poop game. There’s not the excessive poop jokes every two seconds and it uses the theme rather well for the story. If there is a complaint I would have it’s that the map is not very clear. Eventually you can work out where you are on it but I do feel it would benefit from having an indicator of your location. Plus I do reckon it would be good if there was an item that helped you explore better, similar at least in idea to the scan visor from Super Metroid or the stone of agony from Ocarina of time. It may be abit rough, not win awards or be the most amazing game you’ll ever see, but I definitely think it‘s definitely worth the price. I got hours of fun and playtime out of it and most of my struggles I found were from me trying to get before I was ready.
Ninja Turdle is a joke game, it's a garbage 2D retro pixel platformer with repettive "toilet" themes which reveals an unfortunate fixation on the minds of the developers. Gameplay consists of platforming through a satire of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but with an obsessive fascination from the developers about toilets. At least for their sake I'm hoping this is a joke. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Comically, the game was written in Java (I'm not making this up). Talk about not using the right tools for the job. Might as well try to bake a cake with a screwdriver. The extremely poor choice of game engine here is a major contributing factor to the defects with the game. Ninja Turdle has an overly optimistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it. It's hard to argue that it's okay for insincere "developers" to use Steam Direct to pollute the marketplace and take away visibility from genuine developers who did the right thing and tried to make a sincere game for gamers. But trying to cash in on this affront to gamers? This isn't okay. One final note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.
Growing up as a big Super Metroid fan, I love the feel and controls for this game. The artwork is also really well done and imaginative. At $5, its definitely worth getting.
A solid game, enjoyable for that metroidvania itch. Normal mode took me about 3.5 hours to beat (in game time). Collect items and navigate your way through Steve ridding him of nasty parasites.
