AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
Adventure platformer in which the player controls Jack, overcomes obstacles and enemies, collects items, and explores fantasy worlds ✅Clear level design obstacles and keys are clearly visible, making it easy to navigate the environment. ✅Puzzle elements force you to think and plan your moves ✅The price is okay ❌Lack of graphical and technical options, such as the inability to change resolution or control settings. ❌Poor control quality: stiff, unresponsive, or underdeveloped. ❌Low gameplay depth: mechanics are repetitive and evolve little throughout the game. ❌Poor graphics lack detail, a distinct artistic style, and refined animations, making them look unmodern and visually unattractive ❌❌Verdict: [strike] Terrible [/strike], [strike] Bad [/strike], Mediocre , [strike] Decent [/strike], [strike] Good [/strike], [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for short games, retro indie simulator games, and similar)
If you'd like to see more of my reviews, you can find them on my curator page: CuratorKingViking and he we group: GroupKingViking If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask. what is this
Little Jack's Adventures is a little cute pixelated platform game. I know it's weird to start by a good sentence but the game is actually bad. Don't get it.
Before I played This Game... I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
Koleksiyon kartı düşürüp para katlamalık oyun-du.
Little Jack's Adventures is a platformer template copy + paste game. This crapware is just a reskin/rearrange of a basic Asobe Flash 2D retro pixel platformer template. It's only one level, only about 10 minutes to finish. This obviously has no value as a real game, it's just more Russian asset flipper shovelware. This was put on Steam to abuse Valve's trading card feature, which has, due to the proliferation of garbage games like this, caused far more harm than good. Mihai Morosanu have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. An example of Mihai Morosanu doing this is Vogue, The Explorer, which is really "3D Game Kit", written by the actual developers, Unity Technologies. Also, Totally Mayhem, which is really "Full Game Kit - Hammer 2", developed by XForm Games. So, we know the developer is an asset flipper, and we know this is just a fake game dumped on Steam to abuse trading cards. What if you decided to take this seriously anyway? Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming. The controls and game handling are notably very clunky and unsmooth here. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing. They dropped the ball on this one. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Comically, the game was written in Adobe Flash/AIR (I'm not making this up). Talk about not using the right tools for the job. Might as well try to bake a cake with a screwdriver. The extremely poor choice of game engine here is a major contributing factor to the defects with the game. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. Little Jack's Adventures is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the highly unethical nature of the Russian "developer", this is impossible to recommend. Remember, if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Little Jack's Adventures is yet another cash-grab/trading-card bait from this developer. The publisher isn't even hiding this fact by creating bundle called "Trading Cards Mega Discount Bundle". If this bundle no longer available, you can verify my statement by visiting https://web.archive.org/web/20220820222525/https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/6786/Trading_Cards_Mega_Discount_Bundle/. So i'll just point out what's wrong with this game. - Only 1 level which can be beaten in 10-15 minutes. - Below average visual/audio. - Control feels awkward. - Garbage story. - SteamOS/Linux version is buggy.

On fullscreen mode, there's visual bug where everthing turn into color green and white.
On windowed mode, there's persistant small black bar on right side of the window.
Character sometimes doesn't jump when i press "S".
