Fun and light detective game. Has some challenging clues to find.

Herrliches Point and Click Abenteuer mit Katzen.
Amazing and awesome game. Great voice acting with a great story. Puzzles were a little easier but I definitely want a sequel! Not too much replay-ability but definitely worth the price point.
Nine Noir Lives is a charming detective adventure that proves traditional point-and-click games still have plenty of room for creativity. Developed and published by Silvernode Games, the title blends classic noir inspirations with a whimsical world populated entirely by cats, creating a mystery that feels familiar while standing apart through its distinctive humor. Instead of relying on dark, gritty storytelling, the game embraces lighthearted comedy without diminishing the intrigue at the center of its investigation. This balance between mystery and humor gives the adventure a personality that remains consistently entertaining from beginning to end. The story unfolds in the lively city of Meow Meow Furrington, where organized crime, corruption, and hidden conspiracies lurk beneath an outwardly cheerful atmosphere. Players follow private investigator Cuddles Nutterbutter, an eccentric detective whose insecurities and awkward confidence provide a constant source of comedy. Joined by his dependable partner Tabby Marshmallow, he begins what appears to be an ordinary assignment only to become entangled in a far more dangerous web of murder, criminal rivalries, and unexpected secrets. While the narrative draws inspiration from classic detective fiction, it frequently subverts expectations through witty dialogue, absurd situations, and memorable character interactions that prevent the story from becoming overly serious. Gameplay remains faithful to the traditions of classic point-and-click adventures, emphasizing exploration, conversations, inventory management, and environmental puzzle solving. Every location encourages players to inspect their surroundings carefully, rewarding curiosity with humorous observations and useful clues. One of the game's most original mechanics allows Cuddles to lick numerous objects throughout the environment, producing amusing reactions and occasionally revealing additional information. What could have been a simple novelty instead becomes one of the game's defining features, adding personality to exploration while reinforcing its playful tone. Puzzle design is generally logical and satisfying, avoiding unfair solutions that often frustrated players in older adventure titles. Progress depends more on observation and thoughtful experimentation than random guessing. The writing is unquestionably the strongest aspect of Nine Noir Lives. Nearly every conversation showcases clever wordplay, entertaining banter, and colorful personalities that keep dialogue engaging throughout the adventure. The game features an extensive fully voiced script, allowing even supporting characters to leave lasting impressions. Performances from the voice cast significantly elevate the experience, delivering jokes with excellent timing while also providing believable emotional weight whenever the investigation takes a darker turn. The chemistry between Cuddles and Tabby serves as the heart of the narrative, making their partnership enjoyable to follow as the mystery gradually unfolds. Artistically, the game embraces a vibrant hand-drawn presentation that complements its comedic identity. The numerous environments scattered throughout Meow Meow Furrington are rich with visual detail, making every district feel distinct and full of personality. Character designs cleverly exaggerate feline characteristics while maintaining expressive animations that support both dramatic scenes and comedic exchanges. Rather than striving for realism, the visual direction focuses on charm, creating a world that feels timeless and inviting for fans of animated adventures. The audio presentation is equally polished. A fitting soundtrack accompanies investigations with smooth jazz-inspired melodies and atmospheric themes that capture the spirit of detective fiction without becoming repetitive. Environmental sound effects add life to each location, while the voice acting remains the production's standout achievement. Because dialogue drives much of the gameplay, the quality of the performances plays an essential role in maintaining immersion, and the cast consistently succeeds in making every conversation enjoyable. Beyond its humor, Nine Noir Lives demonstrates a genuine appreciation for classic adventure game design. Exploration feels rewarding because nearly every object, conversation, or optional interaction contains additional jokes, background information, or subtle references. The pacing remains steady as new areas gradually unlock, encouraging players to revisit locations with fresh knowledge and newly acquired inventory items. The alternating perspectives between Cuddles and Tabby occasionally provide welcome variety while helping the narrative feel more dynamic than a typical single-character adventure. The game is not entirely without flaws. Players who prefer fast-paced gameplay or action-oriented experiences may find the deliberate pace somewhat slow, particularly during dialogue-heavy segments. Likewise, those unfamiliar with traditional point-and-click adventures may need patience while solving inventory-based puzzles. Some comedic moments inevitably land more successfully than others, and the constant stream of cat-themed jokes may not appeal to every player. Nevertheless, these minor shortcomings do little to diminish the overall quality of the experience. Nine Noir Lives succeeds because it confidently embraces its identity. It combines a cleverly written detective story, memorable characters, inventive humor, satisfying puzzles, and polished presentation into an adventure that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Its unique blend of noir storytelling and feline comedy creates an experience unlike most contemporary adventure games, while the thoughtful puzzle design ensures that gameplay remains consistently engaging. For fans of story-driven mysteries, witty dialogue, and traditional point-and-click gameplay, this is an adventure well worth investigating. Rating: 8/10
Truly one of the most delightful and charming games I've played in years. The graphics! The voice acting! The story! The puzzles! It was all so fun. I loved this game.
Wasn't expected that quality ! Crazy, really funny, strong storyline, good voice acting, beautiful art... thank you guys !!
The tone is sometimes a bit weird with quite melodramatic scenes about serious themes in the middle of a comedy adventure, but overall a solid and fun game
The main character is fine, with good VA. The rest ruin the experience.
