Reviews
Wenn man allerdings keine solchen Spielpartner zur Hand hat, ist diese Digital-Umsetzung immerhin eine funktionierende Alternative. i love the boardgame, but this is a buggy pos :(
As much as i love board games and board game version of Tokaido, this little PoS has stripped my brain of numerous cells by bugging out in ways I - as a software engineer - could not even fathom
Amazing adaptation of the boardgame! The pass and play feature worked great as I was able to play with my kids.
multiplayer is broken. did not try single player. refunded.
Beautiful graphics and very playable over and over
Man, I love the actual physical version of this game. I wanted to love this one: it's cute, well animated, and thematic. But it's also missing the expansion content that adds in SO much more to the game. Certain character interactions sometimes bug out and don't trigger, and the achievements appear to be thoroughly bugged. The AI is also permanently on hard mode, with no way to truly tweak the difficulty; something I had issues with in some digital Catan games, where the AIs play with near perfect knowledge and team up specifically to ensure you don't win. Get some friends, play it on Tabletop Simulator instead. This isn't worth it.
This game is fun and relaxing, but without the expansion packs it quickly becomes stale and has reduced replay value. If the expansions were released I'd buy them immediately and change this review to a thumbs up. I would also like to see an AI difficulty setting since the AI is a little to easy, even with 4 opponents I usually win fairly easily, unless I get really unlucky. I've also seen some people saying the game is too hard so do believe a range of difficulties would benefit the gameplay experience.
I played this game a few years ago. Now I played it again and everything was improved. all graphics where new and beautiful 3d. it improved in all ways. ofcourse there are no online people but for boardgame lovers offline play worths.
really good game, maybe even better than the original boardgame
