Great shooting, fun movement once you get a few abilities, but it's a bit let down by the procedural level generation. I'd probably like it a bit more if it wasn't a roguelite. One thing I'd like to highlight is a clever way the game stops you from just using one weapon - you can be offered a big chunk of gold for you most used tool of mass murder. Overall I had a great time, the shooting itself is so fun that I spent a fair bit of time in the arena mode.
para mi es un juego adictivo y muy bueno
fun game
I find that although in theory there should be tons of fun weapons in practice you only see one every few runs that you might be slightly interested in keeping. The game really only rewards you for using crowd-control type weapons. Lots of times you're just jumping and dashing around emptying out your weapons mindlessly into large groups of enemies. Initially it is addicting but eventually I realized that it was not in a good way. This is addicting in the way that a slot machine is addicting and is not a test of mechanical skill or strategic planning.
Game's fun. If you like classic DOOM, give this a shot. Good times.
Pros: *A story light enough to ignore, but I like how it all focuses on the player characters mental state. Shallow enough to ignore, but deep enough for eggheads to analyze and speculate on the character. *Weapons are both incredibly varied on its own, but with the stats and perks even the same type of weapon can handle differently and be used for different situations *A level system broken into 3 acts, each act having 2-3 different themes *The leveling system has different areas, all tied to optional minigames and currencies Cons: *It's a roguelike, so if those aren't your bag, it's probably gonna be hard to get into *It's pixel art style, so the above applies. Overall, I enjoy it quite a bit. If you aren't all in on the onset, try the demo and maybe wait on a sale.
This game is great, and years later the developer is still updating the game, making it even better. I could easily recommend this game, I don't even like Roguelike/lite gameplay and I really enjoy this one.
Great game. I have played alot of the Doom games as my main fast pace shooters for a while. But this game have ended up being my favorit fast pace shooter. The story can end up being a bit wird, but i liked it. The levels while being very close to eachother, still ends up feeling like a diffrent challenge each time The wepons are really cool with alot of diffrent ways to make a wepon that feels like the best wepon for you. It might take some time to get the correct wepon (for me it took 2 whole playthroughs), but when you get it then it will be fully worth it. The music is from Andrew Hulshult who is known for alot of music for older fast pace shooters too and the music producer for the new movie, Iron Lung. His music is really great at feeling scary and full of demons. Overall i would say if you love the doom games for example and some more new style with a bit of magic and more shooting, then its a great game
game sucks d1ck
Yes, pretty good looter boomer shooter Don't care for the side game tech tree things, (you can at least turn off the minigames - ends up being a lot of disjointed buff trees with different currencies) some buffs can feel like desync in multiplayer and they cant be turned off. also I'm just going to go play a platformer or Pokemon if I want to,,, not the side games Co-op feels tacked on but it works, I probably wouldn't have played it much alone. (its sprite based so your friends guns are invisible, since they would had to do a bunch of new art for guns from different angles, also it'd be cool to be in the hospital room together) no mission select... is probably the thing that most puts me off. host progression and not being able to put your game back sucks, even to just try to 100% certain maps that you didn't.
