For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Night Slashers is a pulse-pounding, horror-themed beat 'em up game, in a nightmarish world filled with bloodthirsty creatures and unspeakable horrors. Prepare to step into the shoes of the unlikely heroes, as they battle hordes of supernatural foes and terrifying monsters.
In Night Slashers, you're not just fighting for survival: you're battling to save the world from a supernatural apocalypse. Join the fight, experience the adrenaline, and embrace the horror. Your darkest nightmares await…

Night Slashers, a classic arcade game originally developed by DATA EAST in 1993, still stands as one of the best titles in the beat 'em up genre to this day! Gameplay consists of seven distinct stages, each subdivided into multiple sections. You can advance by navigating from left to right within each stage, combating waves of enemies to progress.
Attempting to proceed further without eliminating foes halts the screen’s scroll until all the threats are dealt with. Upon reaching the end of each level, a climactic showdown with a formidable boss awaits. Achieve victory over the boss to advance.
Classic Beat 'Em Up Gameplay:Night Slashers: Remake stays true to its roots, offering classic side-scrolling beat 'em up action reminiscent of genre-defining games like Streets of Rage and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. Players will battle through multiple levels, including one secret stage, each culminating in a showdown with a powerful boss.
Four Playable Characters: Choose from three unique characters from the classic version of the game, plus an additional character added in the remake!
Local Multiplayer for Up to Four Players: You don’t have to face the restless hordes of the undead alone—team up with up to four players in local multiplayer mode, where each player controls a different character with an extensive set of moves.
Advanced Combat Mechanics: Master a variety of combat options, including combos, jump attacks, grappling moves, and running strikes. Each character also has devastating special moves that can turn the tide of battle—at the cost of some of their own health.
Spectacular Screen-Clearing Attacks: When the situation gets dire, unleash a powerful screen-clearing attack that decimates all enemies in sight. These attacks come with a significant health cost, but the carnage they unleash is well worth the sacrifice.
Diverse and Horrifying Enemies: Face off against an army of the undead, including zombies, mutants, werewolves, and other nightmarish creatures. Each level is packed with terrifying foes and iconic horror-themed bosses like Dracula, mummies, golems, and Frankenstein's monster.
Night Slashers: Remake stands out with its grim, horror-infused world. The game features atmospheric music and cartoon-style gore that will delight fans of classic horror movies and games alike.
Additional Custom Modes: In the Remake version, you can set your own rules for the game beyond the classic difficulty levels. Time limits? Exploding corpses? It's all here. But are you brave (or crazy) enough to try it?

Fun and dynamic beat 'em up. Good for an evening or two. Didn't play the original, but I enjoyed this one.
Overal I liked it. This game was essentially Castlevania meets a Beat Em Up. And has some of the same characters....and more...essentially. My reviews typically contain spoilers so just a heads up. This team of Hero'Xs or Team-X consist of two males and two females. The game starts with the line of "The world has been overun by zombies, mutants...and monsters. So these four team up and try to do something about it. The blonde haired dude Jake would essentially be Simon Belmont. The other dude would be Trevor Belmont. One of the females would be Sonja Belmont. The characters have a basic attack, a jump attack, another special attack and a power move. I wasn't sure what exactly governed the power moves. I saw nothing on screen that depleted after they used it. I assume they were charge or time based then. Time to recharge or a limited amount of times per spawn. Jake's voice lines and tone were cheesy in an 80s cartoon kind of way. I am thinking of Lion-o on the Thundercats "I must fix the mega condensor!!" OR since we are talking about Data East here and Beat Em ups, one of the most notable of all from Captain America and the Avengers when you were allowed to continue and the countdown started "AMERICAAAAAAAAA NEEEEEEEDS YOUR HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!" I liked the story enough that I actually played through it twice to make sure I got all the major points to this game. The game starts with the Van pulling up. Like the A-Team van or ninja turtle van. The heros determine that a certain hospital is making mutants or zombies so they go there. They fight there way to the end and face a doctor or scientist in a lab coat, since Frankenstein's monster is right after then I assume this is Victor Frankenstein as the doctor creating the mutants. I think that is important to the story as in perhaps other mini bosses are off shoot of that idea. As they defeat Frankenstein there is a vampire outside the window, I assume to be Dracula. That taunts them. And I may get some of these stages or parts out of order for this story. There is a stage where the characters are in the woods running behind a stage coach. I think of that scene in Tim Birton's Sleepy Hollow when Icobod and the Headless Horseman were fighting on the stage coaches. I think one of the bosses there was meant to be hunchback or Notre Dame, the other I dunno. And a rockman, this reminds me of the two on TMNT arcade, a few rockmen in Castlevania as well. But they see the vampire Lord's castle off in the distance and that is the new source of all evil for these Hero-X's. It seems that is a common theme in many games and fiction. A castle goes up somewhere, whether it is Krull or Legend, or it is Dr Wily;s castle, Dracula's castle, Bowzers castle, Dr Robotniks castle., or Zarkon's castle on planet Doom. Whatever it is, that is the centralized source of evil in the Hero-Xs world. They get through Drac's castle (Castlevania?) fairly easily (there is a knight suit to fight) and face off against him on the roof with lightning thunderstorm popping off in the back ground. He is ultimately defeated and felled by a morning yellow sun. Then there are two countries they have to go to, one of them is Australia. The female in the pink outfit has a macguffin to guide her. I am thinking of the Goonies here or more recently, the macguffin on The Rise Of Skywalker they had at the island. I forget exactly some of the other stages but I do remember some of the other bosses. There is a pharoah or I guess a mummy. When you face him he lets out an audible taunt "Prepare to face eternal fire!" which to me biblically goes along with Luke 10:18 and Matthew 25:41. You see some more Knight suits, Egyptian gods, and a few more fights with Drac. And there is something interesting here. The grim reaper Death is AFTER Dracula. We have seen the opposite of this pattern before. In Ghost N Goblins The "Devil" with two faces (2 Corinthians 11:14) in is after the winged creature it says was called 'Satan" that gets the blue haired girl from the graveyard (Babylon?). Or in Castlevania 1 for the NES, Dracula the king of vampires AFTER the grim reaper Death. Then I conclude that the devil is Dracula (Netflix said it first back in the teens) and that the grim reaper is Death the dragon Job 41 and the first born of death Job 18:13, Revelation 12, Abaddon Apollyon Revelation 9:11. SO, after you beat Death the grim reaper, then you must face Zarutz. Zarutz seems to be a combination of the vampire lord and the grim reaper as one. After this is Zarutz final stand, A fire filled room with Zarutes halved and one arm blasting out magic or spiritual fire at you. I couldnt help but think of the Terminator 1 ending here. As the Terminator crawls with half a body and one arm trying to get to Sara Conner. Or you could retcon Star Wars or have a future Kylo Ren cut in half with only one arm crawling to get Rey who has no light saber and can't use her powers for some reason.. But after this...the game finally ends. Supposedly this was an arcade game in the 90s but I do not remember it, perhaps because I did not grow up in Japan? TWO things I thought would have made this game better. It needed a more gothic Castlevania 1 NES, Ghost N Goblins, Shadowgate NES style music, but with a more up beat flair. Maybe not as upbeat or dancy as say Streets Of Rage or Final Vendetta, but in that direction. I did appreciate at times it tried to somewhat take it there with the pipe organs and such. Where was Medusa? Too close to Castlevania eh? Gotcha Naw, I don't know why there wasn't a female villainess in this, alone or with goon squad. For me it is a 3 out of 5.
