Just finished the game not to long ago and I must say this game was a good buy. Very unique and great music. I got this game for 99 cents. I would not pay the $4.99 price tag just on account of how short it is. Overall this game kept me coming back till I completed it. I'd say comepleting it was worth seeing the end sequence because it's so "80's RAD" and I feel like I got my dollars worth.. Pick it up on on sale.
Night Shift is a very atmospheric and surreal puzzle game. Unique gameplay, with a satisfying presentation containing retro aesthetics and music (which is fantastic). The puzzles are a bit obscure, those with less patience may get frustrated at some of them. It's one of those games where you have to think outside the box. Take your time, and observe your surroundings carefully. Take a break if you find yourself stuck, you'll probably get it on the first try after coming back to it. My only real gripe is that the conclusion could have been more interesting, after all that work I was expecting something with a little more effort put into it. Didn't ruin the experience and wasn't terrible, just not memorable at all. It wasn't a long game either, puzzles were few and there's nothing else to do but the puzzles, it took me around 3 hours to complete. However that wasn't an issue for me, and shouldn't be to anyone else considering its very low price. If you're looking for something different and don't mind being challenged, I definitely recommend this game. If not, try it anyway- you might end up enjoying it.
Night Shift is a retro car driving puzzle game. The retro pixel graphics look pretty bad, and aren't necessary - this game was released in 2015. The game is a kind of puzzle game where you need to drive around to find a way to restore the sun to the sky (which is why it's dark all the time). The gameplay is somewhat pointless feeling as you just drive around large areas feeling lost. The combination of bad gameplay and awful retro graphics (it's 2018 now, let retro die) and the overly greedy $5 price point prevents me from recommending this to anyone.
I got what I wanted from this game: the uncanny frisson that comes from driving outside of town at night and being a bit lost. The puzzle aspect was just difficult enough to keep me interested. It's best played late at night, and pairs well with your favorite night-time radio. Edit: As long as your favorite night-time radio is talk. The game music is an indispensable part of the game.

this is bad game ♥♥♥♥
I love everything about this game. The retro graphics and simple controls are very nostalgic, and the absolutely amazing 80's inspired soundtrack just kicks it up over the top in the best way possible. I cannot stress enough that my ONLY complaint about this game is that I couldn't buy the soundtrack seperately from the game.
