Reviews
Disregard The massive review bomb, The Taiwanese Dev insulted the Communist Government and now Mainland Chinese players have their panties in a bunch, this game is fantastic if not a little short,
一直被模仿,从未被超越。
制作组政治立场有问题,坚持一个中国原则!
This is a beautiful little horror game with a deep story. There's no cheap jumpscares, but it's genuinely unsettling in more ways than one. The music and art style really create a terrifying atmosphere. Highly recommend if you want to have a depressing time. (This is a good thing.)
My best friend gave me this game as a birthday present, and also because she knows I got SIlent Hill F and i really enjoyed the title. Of course Detention is completely different game, talking about gameplay, however the story is similar and I really enjoyed it. The only complains I have are concerning language, even though I speak and understand english, I had to translate it in real time during stream cause it doesn't have a translation to spanish, also in certain cinematics you can't control the speed of the texts which can be tricky. Other tan than the game is great and i really recommend it, just make sure it's available in a language you understand.
Definitely worth playing! There are sm things I love about this game: 1. The graphics and gameplay, yup. 2. Alongside the graphics and gameplay, I appreciate the "show, don't tell" method so much (yes it's always been my favorite storytelling style), and what could be better when using such method? A nice plot!! I'm both excited and horrified while playing game - excited by connecting the dots through the hints to find out what was happening; and horrified by having to deal with all those ghosts in the game (due to my mouse control skills, I absolutely suck at this part). 3. I love how the game didn't overuse jumpscares and focused on Asian folk spiritual culture instead, the more folklore u know, the more interesting the game shows. 4. I have always been paying heed to the characters' inner thoughts/inner world whenever I started discovering a work, and the game shows off how the background settings affects the characters' perspectives and their behaviors very well, it makes so much sense for what the characters had been doing during the history behind the game, even though we might not comprehend what they were doing since we live in modern time. 5. Especially, I love Ray, I did have to bear a complex family environment when I was her age (tbh, hers was worse), so I understand her. She IS young, having a troublesome family life, having no trustworthy adult to guide her (yep I won't mention Chang Ming-hui for many personal reasons sorry), NOT getting what was TRULY happening when she chose to meet instructor Bai,... To me, she was only a child, so it broke my heart knowing how struggling and guilty she's carrying. I want to hug her, and I'm glad that she made it in the Good Ending. The game is way more than just a horror game, it deserves appreciation!!
absolute cinema
Without Karl Marx, this game wouldn't exist, so thank you, evil Santa Claus. Extra Note: Konami, hand this team the Silent Hill Franchise.
Good
This is what I was expecting from Silent hill f
