About

Nothing beats the thrill of a deep strategy board game session with friends, and with Nexus 5X, you can play not one, but several sessions during an evening where “One More Turn” becomes “One More Game.”
Nexus 5X is a multiplayer turn-based 4X clash for galactic dominance, played from start to finish in about an hour!

Choose from unique factions and leaders and play alone or in turn-based multiplayer with 2-8 players. Play with friends or brave the Nexus online in skill-based matchmaking. Form unlikely alliances, execute bitter betrayals, or quietly plot from the shadows to ascend victorious to the Galactic Throne, all in around 60 minutes.

Starting from the safe haven of their home world, players can rapidly expand their reach across the galaxy to explore and occupy new systems, eventually taking control of the throne-world of Nexus. Military conflict and diplomatic dealings are available as players expand and explore, but so is the power struggle that plays out in the Galactic Council, as rival empires exert their influence to cast votes in favour of new titles and resolutions, aiming to empower their faction or advance their immediate strategic objectives.

For role-players who want to immerse themselves in the lore-rich Stellaris universe, or for ‘by-the-numbers’ strategists, select from factions and leaders that alter the approach of each match, offering a range of playstyles and ways to gain the upper-hand over their opponents.

This is a pretty shallow and simple 4X space strategy game. The limitations are frustrating. I think it's designed more for PvP than PvE (which is what I enjoy). I found that the way the AI seems to have much larger fleet sizes and can pull a rabbit out of its hat with the perfect player card every single time is annoying. The turn system is a bit wonky too in that you leave your system to fight a battle elsewhere only to find you didn't actually leave yet because the AI warped in at the same time and they got to leave but you didn't and have to fight them before you can then take your drastically reduced force to fight in their system now (which they get to update).
A pity that this did not go any further, was an interesting game
A really solid multiplayer space 4x game where the games don't take weeks to finish.
Amazing game, short 4x strategy with good catches. Too bad the multiplayer section of it is not playable as it seems there are not many players :/
this game feels like a 4x game for mobile (in all the good aspects of it) - a match can be played in an hour or two - all UI is click and drag - yet to test the AI, but it's seems like it good the only downside of it is that this is a PC game and not a mobile one. BUT, have no fear! with value magic you can GameHub the game to Android and play it on the go (finally a replacement for Slay the Spire for me). so recommended
Playing the board game of Twilight Imperium is the perfect segue into playing this game. It takes the great concepts that TI created and improves upon them in pretty much everyway. Grab some friends and fight over the galaxy together. I love this game and I dont know how it has gone under people's radars for so long.
Fine game. Easy and fast. Though there are some bugs. For example the mission after the restart from checkpoint may lose some goals. However in my case it hasn't broken my experience but in contrary helped me to finish these missions.
it's a good game, it's just small. the map is too small it ends the match and i dont even know why. the Art is good. its another of those games that you pay for it and they dont let you play it. no ship costmization. no deep.
Amazing game with awful marketing, deserves more attention.
