Newt One

A fun, cute platformer. Great vibes, chilled music, and beautiful art. Controller support would have been great but it was easy enough to use M&K.

Unless you are below the age of nine or need help with the concept of colors, this probably isn't the game for you. I've only played nineteen minutes though, maybe it turns into a rich, intense multi-layered gaming experience after level 5 EDIT: It does not

First of all, I have completed Newt One's entire first world. Newt One is a game that feels relatively amateur, and on several occasions I had to ask what the point of a level direction was, and what purpose an object serves, but I don't think this substantially detracts from the experience. That being said, I feel like the awakening theme of the game's design is underutilized, and that more of the object interaction should play into that idea.

I don't want to *not* recommend this game, since I can appreciate the love and imagination that went into it. It's colorful and filled with personality. I don't know how this game ended up in my library, but I'm glad it's there. But from a gameplay perspective, it's a pretty bare-bones 3D platformer without much interesting to offer.

不能说不好玩，只能说有点无聊吧，体验一下不一样的游戏风格倒是不错的，聊胜于无吧。

Game sits in a really weird place where its to simple and boring for teens/adults yet requires a bit of timing skill that might be too hard for a child. This game also has no polish, the textures are very rough and over saturated. One of the main side-objectives is to literally touch every tile, asset, coin, bird, box, ect, ect. Would be a decent cozy game if it was slightly more interesting

An intensely boring platformer, obviously intended for small children, but too badly designed even for them. The gameplay is too complex and skill-based for a child, yet nowhere near challenging enough for an adult to enjoy. The sound is the best part - the gameplay is meshed with the audio in that certain actions will result in changes in the soundtrack, which is well executed and satisfying. Perhaps valuable as a wind-down activity, but only because it is so thoroughly unstimulating.

Cute visuals with popping colors and a cheery dynamic soundtrack can't save this unengaging platformer. And don't count of the poor story to motivate the action either. WIth rather stiff controls made worse on moving platforms and a lack of meaningful challenge, Newt One just doesn't quite find itself for the most part. Power-ups do spruce up the goings-on, and the larger and denser levels are a bit more interesting to navigate. There's potential here, but this platformer, much like its world, feels like it's waiting for something to liven up the proceedings, only there's no cute costumed critter to bring color to this game.

不像2019年的遊戲，操作手感真的很差，玩起來蠻痛苦的平台跳躍動作遊戲，裡面最大優點大概是BGM好聽。
