About
Realism comes first in this fully physics-based skateboarding game. The always-active ragdoll reacts to everything organically—no animations—making every moment unique! Of course, the board is completely physics-driven too.
In skateboarding even a simple kickflip is satisfying, that is a core element in Newbie . Rewarding lifelike feel of the board control makes all those (hilarious) bails worth getting up from.
Free roam a small town with tons of realistic obstacles and rails. Master the basics, and that ten-step stair set will look a little more doable.
Roadmap inbound.

better music than session more realistic than skate its a starting project and certainly faaaaaar from finished but if dem devs keep makin ill keep payin iff they be goin ill be goin on a serious not i advise to buy this. its small but it will get big
this game is difficult to say right off the bat. it took me awhile to finally get the kickflip down. that being said this is what i recommend to enjoy the game alot more. use slomo to find the timing of the trick you want to learn, dont just assume because you can skate irl or have alot of skate experience it will be easy, learn the controls at first start off with just pushing around then ollies then try to float your ollie some and add a 180, once you get to this point i recommend doing a forward flip(dolphin flip) just ollie and let go of the feet plant button let it flip forwards recatch, then you can learn anything from that point. to use the flip motion ollie, then hold the button, flick, then recatch. I REPEAT USE THE SLOMOTION TO FIND THE TIMING FIRST IT WILL SAVE YOU HOURS OF LEARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!
so far, this game is pretty good. if you look past your feet getting stuck and stretched in the pavement, its a great and pretty fun game to mess around in.
Extremely rough. It doesnt feel like im skateboard but piloting a weightless ragdoll. I get what the game is going for but it does very little in guiding you how actually use the physics to land tricks. They tell you have to move around and thats about it. Even just moving around doesnt quiet work since there has been times ive respawned only to fall off my board right away, push a couple times and just randomly fall over. I like the art direction but i dont know if its the brightness or camera angle but i find it hard to see whats infront of me. This doesnt feel like a diamond in the rough like other comments would have you beleive. there might be a diamond but it hasnt been dug up yet
honestly right now i would not recommend buying this game, even tho its only 4 ish bucks (and on sale 3 ish bucks),the controls feel really weird and not intuitive at all and its just unplayable in my opinion,no idea why theres so many people saying its great because it just isnt YET,it still needs alot of time to maybe become a enjoyable game (which idk if that will happen at its estimate for the full release) especially since its made by a dev who never even made a game yet and i think also doesnt have lots of experience in development of games yet ,imo if you release it into early access basic things should work and should be enjoyable (small things the game imo needs walking,a session marker and respawn to session marker input, goofy stance, different camera options also being able to turn on and off effects and the fisheye(preferably customizable camera), the "animations" and inputs still need lots of work. even if its supposed to be simulation and physics based or whatever such games should be difficult in a realistic way and not difficult in a basically unplayable way
I want to give this a thumbs up so bad as a skateboarder but i cant yet in its current state!! Crazy potential here but I doubt anyone could consistently land anything besides shuv, 180, or ollie.. got bored fast bc the controls are too wacky to land anything with. I would love a totally physics based simulator but the skater is too ragdoll and i cant figure out how to control the board flips AT ALL. I had no issues running this game on max graphics with a mid spec walmart gaming laptop. Skateboarding in real life is kinda easier than this game is right now lol I'll still be checking in for updates!!!
Steam
