Neverliria is a side scrolling, rogue like, survival game. The game has been made with some nice pixel art portraying a female protagonist who is trying to survive in a forest that is haunted by shadow creatures that will attack if it is dark enough for them to get to you. This is dealt with by lighting fires which will hold them back. As it is also a survival game you need to eat. I found that planting a corn field should be the second thing you focus on after getting enough wood to last you a night or two. Exploring unlocks more items to craft and reveals more about the mysterious world you are in. I also discovered an obstacle I had to overcome in the form of a damaged bridge that needed to be repaired, and until I did this I couldn't go any further. Unfortunately I got carried away with my settlement and never got around to repairing it, I wonder what lies beyond? The games audio is also great with environmental sounds and atmospheric music for each situation. It might be good to try it with headphones. I played it for just over an hour and found it to be quite fun and would of happily played it for longer. Unfortunately due to the insta-death, one life only, when I tried to use a different lighting source to keep the monsters away it failed and my game ended. Still, we live and learn. Large fires so I know how much fuel they have in them not a furnace! So basically this game is well worth the price, which is only $6, and it's enjoyable to play so I am happy to recommend the title. Have fun seeing how long you can survive! Check out my video to see some unedited game play.... https://youtu.be/DmbNpQjqdGs Thanks for watching, please like, subscribe and comment.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Neverliria is a ripoff of the Kingdom: New Lands game where you're stuck in a 2D retro pixel world and you need to build defenses to fend off waves of baddies. The difference here, apart from sharing the same ugly 2D retro pixel graphics, is that the gameplay is a lot more painful and tedious. This game lacks a lot of polish compared to the game it's ripping off. Every time I walk in one direction it would slide me in the opposite direction first. Glitches like that really ruin the experience. Not worth $6.
ok, so this Game is a bit annoying, But it is also very fun :)it is all in the way you plan out your survival . Like always make sure you have a fire at night and grow food right away . By building everything in order to unlock other things you can go far :) have fun and good luck
"Вполне сносная 2D песочница со всеми любимой пиксельной графикой. В игре, помимо добротного сюжета и 20 типов зданий, доступных для строительства и улучшения, присутствует глубокая атмосфера." Neverliria is the kind of game I would have expected to play back when games were a completely new concept. I am not going to bore you with positive specifics. The game is exactly as it is described. The problem is the game mechanics are so horrible it is what makes this game feel archaic and outdated. Survival is dependant on carrying each item one-by-one to whatever location you deem suitable. There are no bag systems. There is a chest you can carry with some items in it, but if you decide explore for a decent location and enemies appear, you must drop the chest, open the chest, and quickly craft a fire pit to save your life. I have no idea why you can't skip all those steps and just craft the bloody things. This is the kind of game mechanics you can expect to play and is the main flaw holding Neverliria back.
атмосферная игрулька,2D графика напоминает Kingdom New Lands,любопытный жанр и подача игры,кто не знаком,попробуйте,разработчикам 5+
I'm editing my review because the game has been update & fixed. Neverliria is a lovely little game, it has the same vibe from Kingdom but it is more casual. If you like base building and defending this is good game. It's harder at first because you must learn by yourself, surviving. But once you get the idea, your base starts to prosper. The game is relatively short but I think it has a nice value per time. In fact I would like to see more content and/or games by the developer, I would totally play it!
Great game. The art style is endearing and the mysterious mechanics are largely intuitive. Good length and difficulty.
Adoro questo gioco! Simile a Kingdom New Lands. Potevano curare di più la parte iniziale, l'intro è pessimo. Inoltre ci sono tantissimi bugs
