Neuroarena: Black Duel Master

Game seems to have a loading error as it hits 90% then just gets stuck. For now it's a no but if I can play I will write a new review for this.

It's not free, it's riddled with toxic mobile app microtransactions in the nasty real money cash shop that's integrated into every aspect of this shallow garbage. Yes, finally, what the gaming industry has been crying out for... AI slop from Russian mobile app developers. This is bad, possibly one of the worst things on Steam. The entire idea behind this Russian AI slop is that you can use nano banana or whatever to proompt your own card designs, and then pay lots of money in the toxic mobile app cash shop to make sure you win every round. This is cancer, with more cancer on it. So what game there is here is just a shallow iPhone screen tapper. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on the slot machines at the casino. The minimal "game" aspect of this mobile app is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Setting the greedy mobile monetization and toxic cash shop aside, this is an iPhone app, not a PC game. I didn't pay thousands for a serious gaming rig to use it like an iPhone, and you shouldn't have to either... you deserve a lot better than mobile trash. We're here for PC games. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 3 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere. AI models are trained on copyrighted intellectual property without permission from the owners.
