Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 31 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Nested Lands is a multiplayer settlement-building RPG set in a dark, plague-ravaged world where twisted madmen and bandits roam the land. Your life will depend on how well you manage and grow your settlement. Fortunately, you're not alone in this dark world — your peasants will help you gather resources, craft items, and build defenses as you lead them through danger and privation. But remember, every choice you make has consequences and can lead your village to prosperity or a senseless death from the plague.
Start from a clean slate and build a brand-new civilization. Assign each peasant a specific role and order them to build, craft, or gather the resources you need to survive the hardships you will face. With dozens of upgradable buildings and hundreds of items to craft and customize, including farms and animals, you're free to shape your settlement as you see fit. But don't let your growing dynasty blind you — hostile forces lurk nearby, ready to spill your blood.

The only way to break through the endless darkness of Nested Lands is to gather the other survivors who share your plight, but have yet to fully give up hope. Save and recruit peasants during your journey across the world. But keep in mind that they will need your protection.
Harsh weather and the coming winter are also your sworn enemies, and the highly detailed world full of random events won’t grant you a single moment’s rest.

Start from nothing. Rise from the bottom, overcome monumental challenges, and make your fame echo across the Nested Lands. But be careful - all your decisions will be carefully watched and evaluated. Will your name be praised by all, or will its very sound instill fear into the common folk who dwell in this open world? The choice is yours.

The disfigured nature of the world makes survival even more challenging. Before facing other threats, you need to secure the basics — a lack of medicine can wipe your village out faster than any blade. Craft, improve your skills, and endure the harsh reality of Nested Lands. Brutal weather and the coming winter may be your greatest foes, but random encounters won't offer any respite.

Play your way - explore the Nested Lands alone, or embrace the horrors of this dystopian world with your friends in co-op mode.

I’ve been playing this game in co-op with my girlfriend (with me hosting). While the core gameplay is actually fun, the saving system combined with a catastrophic bug completely wiped out all of our progress. The Bug: When traveling between maps—whether by boat or by pig—you randomly fall through the floor into an endless black void. The absolute worst part about this is that the game forces an autosave the moment you travel. You have zero control over this. By the time the map loads and you realize you are trapped in an infinite loop of falling, the game has already overwritten your last working save file in the background. If you don't react within a millisecond to hit Alt + F4, your save file is permanently bricked. Since the game only allows for one single save slot, there is no going back. The in-game "Unstuck" function is completely useless because the characters are stuck in a permanent falling state. Regarding the Support: I reported this game-breaking bug to the developers in detail two weeks ago. Absolutely nothing has been fixed. Instead of prioritizing a hotfix for a critical error that literally deletes hours of player progress, they chose to patch new features into the game instead. Talk about wrong priorities. As long as a broken autosave system can randomly and irreversibly destroy your entire save file during normal fast travel, I strongly advise against buying this game! If your pig or boat glitches through the map just once, all your invested time is gone for good.

Game is absolutely riddled with multiplayer bugs and missing features. Non host players have limited interaction with most features. LAN players aren't supported at all. There's no direct IP connections. Tons of desync and disconnect issues, in a game where everyone has to join a lobby the beginning of the game and there's no hot joining. It needs at least a year of work on the multiplayer side. In the game generally: The combat is deeply unsatisfying, the villagers by default waste resources all over the place and are hard to generally manage. There's a ton of performance problems, like hitching and outright multi-second halts running a 9800x3d and RTX 5090. The concept is good, but this game needs years of development and polish. I hope they get there.
This is an Early Access Review as of 6/14/2026, and I pray things improve. So your looking for a fun game? This one peak your interest? Survival, town & labor management, great story & dialog, combat, maybe even a little adult content?? Well do I have a deal for you! How would you like to play instead a game of fetch quests, back and forth over long distances, all while everything runs at 15 FPS, and you stop moving whenever you run in to anything in the game because every item stops your movement. BUT WAIT there's more! you will be surrounded by a thick fog that limits your visibility to 20 feet 80% of the time. Well I know what your thinking at least there is a compelling setting that likely has a interesting story right, not even remotely! Every dialog does not flow, NPC's are without any personality and poorly written, it is painfully 2 dimensional, and will leave you like me begging for the game to be over. Combat is horrible, and to be avoided at all costs, enemies are more of an annoyance than a source of fun, thank god there is an ability to stealth kill, however, if you are like me the moment you get a bow and can head shot your enemies, that's all you will do. But wont that alert the bad guy's buddies and result in combat? Nope, fear not you can kill snipe and the guy standing next to him doesn't mind at all. I spent over 50 hours looking for the diamond in this rough.. there wasn't one.
I played the demo across different stages, and it was reasonably good. Now they’re selling the full game using the exact same map as the demo. It seems like the gameplay is exactly the same, too. I bought it thinking there would be something different, but there wasn't. It’s all just like the demo—very little has changed. A disappointment...
It crashes, a lot. Every time you do a small task you better save. I have 76 hour of game time played and have had approx. 30 crashes. About 40 hour in I got hit with a 'plague wind' that never went away. If I moved even slightly out of cover I would die. I had to start completely over. I was hoping for better. I didn't get it. I think my current save is corrupted because if I can even log in there is only 3-4 minutes of game play before it crashes. There are many issues that need to be addressed before I would ever look at this game again.
18 hours in and i finished the early access because i couldn't stop playing. its ♥♥♥♥. the combat the graphics the voice lines and other sound effects. the crows sound like someone spamming the discord sound board. but it was an amazing experience. building upgrading and managing a village from scratch. The survival aspect of games always gets me and this game added in hygiene, if you smell bad you cant sneak up on enemies and i think that was so creative, if you have 15 bucks and 20 hours to spare i would def recommend this game, the janky aspect of everything made me laugh more often then not. also the villagers sit and it sounds like everyone is wearing latex pants
It's a decent game for what it is. Buggy, combat is horrible. Every third attack or so just doesn't register. I post guards at my village which I've never, in 3 separate attacks seen do anything other than just stand and get slaughtered without even attacking. The idea of the game seems fun, the story seems like it could be interesting if I could play long enough to uncover it. All in all 5/10.
I LOVE this game! There are a few things I would change such as the white markers over lootable containers and plants (surely the developers can come up with something more in keeping like a faint glow to the overall container/plant?) and it seriously lags whenever I get close to coastal areas - but otherwise this is fantastically atmospheic - dark but hopeful - I love it and would highly recommend!! I'm addicted!
good ideas but my god the combat is bad
