I got electrocuted when I first touched Nerobi. A few moments after the beginning, you start exploring a world with brutal level design: the game has no regrets in killing you over and over. But the beautiful graphics and sound design takes you in for another round, and as the character gains back his abilities, the story unfolds and gets clearer and far more interesting. The characters design is quite amusing and a nod to japanese culture. Astonishing and curious work for a duo-indie team! Surely worth 10€. I'll update my review when I reach the end of the game. EDIT 1: this game is hard... nearly finished btw! In the meantime some updates and Quality Of Life improvements have come out, the game is getting better already even if it's still in Early Access!

Nuovissimo Adventure Platform creato da un duo totalmente Italiano di appassionati del videogioco old school! Artisticamente qualcosa di incredibile per gli occhi! Il gioco è appena uscito in Early Access e verrà piano piano migliorato. Ho giocato al gioco per 4 orette ed in questo video ho riassunto i momenti più divertenti ed artisticamente validi! Dategli una chance per supportare il panorama Indie Italiano, questo gioco è un gioco REALMENTE Indie e meriterebbe di essere provato da qualsiasi appassionato di videogiochi old school che è stanco di farsi prendere per mano! Nerobi is a fun, challenging game full of secrets to discover. The hand-crafted drawings are unique and spectacular, along with music and gameplay capable of constantly engaging. It is not an easy game, so if you are looking for a relaxing experience you may want to opt for something else. It is, however, an excellent title for fans and novices alike. You will test your patience and skills with this game, but you will also find yourself traversing a world full of wonderful secrets and atmosphere. What immediately ravishes you is the graphical compartment. The settings are simply magical, fairy-like, enchanted. The designs are made entirely by hand and are extraordinary, turning Nerobi into a fairy tale with its many sides. This game is not the classic platformer with wobbly platforms and sterile obstacles. Nerobi is pure magic, with almost blinding lights and colors so vibrant that they mesmerize from the first moments. The different scenarios constantly leave you speechless and amazed, starting from the forest with its hues to the mysterious caves with cerulean hues. Absolutely satisfied.

WOW Nerobi is so cute. I definitely love this indie game! The drawings are beautiful and the music is so relaxing. At the same time, the game is challenging and competitive. No mistake is forgiven.

Consigliatissimo! Gioco decisamente "challenging" e storia davvero interessante. Da giocare fino alla fine!

Davvero una bellissima scoperta! Serve tanta pazienza, però ne vale davvero la pena! Edit – Combat Update (v0.8800): Ho ripreso in mano il gioco dopo l’uscita della Combat Update (v0.8800), più che altro per curiosità: volevo capire che direzione avessero preso gli sviluppatori. Onestamente? Sono contento di avergli dato un’altra chance. Il titolo è migliorato parecchio: con questo update è stato introdotto il combat system, che aggiunge finalmente una componente attiva e rende il tutto molto più dinamico e divertente. L’esperienza generale è più solida e coinvolgente, senza però snaturare il livello di sfida. Rimane tosto, ma ora è anche molto più appagante. Se lo avevate messo da parte, questo update vale davvero un secondo giro.

Amazing art direction with astonishing visuals, Nerobi is a small gem that shows a lot of potential. The gameplay works and it helps keep the story going without getting to much in the way, although in some sections you can expect to die, a lot, even tho it never feels frustrating but rather fun in it's own way. I'm sure the developers put their heart into this project and when it will finally get out of early access it will be a game to behold.
