This is one of those titles where I'm a bit torn in terms of how I feel about it. Starting with the positive Never Yield absolutely has style to spare from its terrific soundtrack to its colourful visuals to its somewhat weird but cinematic story. Putting all of those elements together you're absolutely trippin for a bit as you drink it all in, steadily applying your somewhat limited repertoire of moves to new situations to deal with a variety of threats. However, I also think there's a point where you'll realize that for all of the production value it brings to the table, underneath it all the actual gameplay itself is quite simple. With that in mind, whether you'll enjoy the game will revolve around what you're looking for. If you want to feel a bit like you're playing through a movie of sorts (with the total length being roughly the same) you'll likely dig it a ton, if you're looking for rewarding gameplay you'll likely find it unsatisfying. Credit to the lone wolf developer for making something so polished, but I'd very much recommend with an warning considering the lack content.
An auto (literal) running platformer where you basically play the game via QTE to get through obstacles... The thing is, it feels cheap and I somehow couldn't pass an obstacle early in the game, like 5 minutes into the game and that's it, I lost interest in the game. It's a cheap game where you can possibly only get it when you want to round up your buying on steam, otherwise it's better to avoid this game. No Ultrawide support, this game just zoomed in when I played it on 3440x1440 res, and there's not even any way to change the resolution on this game.
A visually striking runner with a strong hip-hop soundtrack, Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield leans heavily on style and atmosphere. However, its limited mechanics and short length can make the experience feel repetitive, and the lack of depth may leave players wanting more substance beneath its sleek presentation.
3/10 bit trip runner clone never liked any of those games out of all of them melody escape is the best cause you can use your own music and i hardly played that one as well + music
DO NOT BUY THIS! This is not worth the price tag and never will be. This game is just an infinite runner game that isnt challenging at all. Just go play temple run. Gameplay - 2/10 Uniqueness - 1/10 Artstyle - 3/10 Achievements - 1/10 (Not possible to get all achievements as far as im aware)
Mediocre runner game that might be worth for die-hard fans of the gerne - 4.5/10 Aerial Knight's Never Yield is fairly straighforward game made by a solo dev. Unfortunately that also shows a soon as you start the game. The games misses proper optimization, the game is cut off a bit at the edges and there are no settings to adjust that. I don't like the artstyle really either, too flashy in my opinion, looks and feels a lot like a mobile game. I'm usually a big fan of the genre but this one did not do it for me. Another thing is that there are some sections where the camera pans and when it's back on the player you are so close to an object that you can not react quick enough anymore. You will restart from the last checkpoint but I think that's bad level design. There is also a section where you are running from the other side of the screen, the controls are not inverted there though, which means you won't run through glass with stick to the left like you would expect but with the standard stick to the right. Really annoying at first. The bonus levels are another example of bad level design as you can't restart those levels once you fail. The usual "continue button" takes you to the next story level which means if you want to complete the bonus levels you have to go back to main menu and then level select every time you fail. Did somebody playtest that? The endless mode seemed interesting at first but you just run in circles in a sports hall while dodging the different obstacles, this becomes boring really quickly. The question mark pickups are very annoying here as it's almost guarantee game over if you catch one. Depending on the intensity of the "fog" you can not see anything likely failing the next obstacle. I have to admit that despite a lot of people digging the music I found most songs too repetitive for a game like this. All in all while I appreciate the work that has been put into this, and the game can be fun a short while I think there are so many other better games to play out there that I can not really recommend this. The game is missing something that makes it stand out. 100%-Achievement-Difficulty: Middle, has one annoying achievement where you have to survive for around 30 minutes in the endless mode which gets boring after a few minutes. Its a fun game. could be better. normal mode i think is way easier. should have made hard mode into normal mode. story mode has only 12 level so pretty short play. endless mode idk same same. good soundtrack. 3.5/5

o Jogo é divertido, meio repetitivo, porém é curto e facil. da pra gastar 1 tempo
This is dope man! I saw aerial knight’s instagram reel on this game and saw he was a solo black developer and had to check it out. The rhythm and timing your movements is key to success in this! Only real criticism I have is the difficulty, where normal should be easy and hard should be normal, etc. But other than that, it rocks. 🎮🤙🏾🔥
