About
After a long journey in your small rowboat, you arrive at Neptune Island, set on repairing the light atop the lighthouse. However, a series of puzzles designed to deter intruders stand in your way, each one growing more desperate as you get closer to restoring power to the light. With only a weak lantern to guide you through the darkness, you must navigate the lighthouse's challenges, and ensure the safety of sailors in the surrounding fog. Along the way, you'll uncover the strange phenomena that make Neptune Island unlike any other.

Neptune Island has nice visuals, but its puzzles are an exercise in tedium. The lantern and indoor lighting in general feels insufficient, and does more harm to the visual environment and atmosphere than good. The game is not very well readable in the dark and the atmosphere suffers for it. Locked doors have nearly impossible to see combination locks, which are not initially mentioned. Don't bother searching for a physical key as might be expected with no given notice or visual clues to the contrary. Another annoyance is that objects must be placed directly back to the holder they were taken from before interacting with anything else, this includes placing back the fishing pole before picking up a fish. The game shows flashes of promise, and I look forward to the developer's progress in the future, but Neptune Island just can't get out of its own way in its current state.
silly puzzle game with a totally normal ending
Play it if you d'are.
nice game but i wish it was a bit longer .. it was fun though
nice game
I'd say its ok, wouldn't necessarily recommend this but i don't want to leave a bad review since the game is not actually that bad and i dont wanna lower the rating. also cuz apparently this their first actual game which is p cool the game is just. a little mediocre at worst - occasionally annoying puzzles (simply because half the time i had no idea what i'm supposed to do and its a little too dark and hard to see things - inventory system is a little annoying, having to go back into the lighthouse to put an item back so you can interact with things again is annoying especially if you have to constantly go back and forth - and the ending, just a little confusing is all and a little sudden? like there wasnt rly much leading up to it so it felt rly funny other than that the visuals are nice and the style and feeling it gives off is nice. dont think the "horror" stuff was necessary though to me it felt a little out of place, there wasnt really anything anyway besides a painting ig which just makes me uncomfortable. otherwise the game is fine
REally fun pen and paper puzzle game, there are some of the hints which are less useful than others i.e 4, but all in all it's enjoyable.
