This game took one hour to complete and was well worth the $2 asking price. In this game you arrive on a small island and enter a lighthouse. As you climb the inside of the lighthouse there are a few well designed puzzles to complete to walk higher up inside the lighthouse, ultimately to achieve the goal of turning the lighthouse on. + Atmospheric setting and soundscape + Original puzzle designs + Funny / trippy cosmic horror / Lovecraftian ending - Some of the puzzles are not explained well, you really have to look everywhere / examine everything, and almost brute force a few to work properly - The game is too dark inside the lighthouse, even with the lamp on you can barely see in front of you - The retro graphics might turn off a few, no graphic settings If you like these kind of short indie puzzle games and know what to expect, give it a try. Overall: 7 / 10

Highly recommended if you're in to puzzle games. This game was short and sweet and delivered on an atmospheric and gameplay front. For the developer's first game, it is extremely well polished, I particularly enjoyed the sound design. Easy pickup, especially for $2.

This game is impressively scary and calming at the same time, I enjoyed the vibe of being outside in the rain in the middle of the ocean but also hated unlocking each floor because I have no idea whats waiting for me. The puzzles are executed really well and also pretty unique, they aren't too difficult to be frustrating but aren't too easy either and still feel rewarding when you complete them Worth the $2 for sure, if not more

An enjoyable, short, atmospheric experience. The puzzles give you just enough to figure it out but get you to think outside of the box. A bargain at 2 dollars. Looking forward for more from this developer.

Neptune Island accomplishes in being a short, engaging, retro-themed puzzle game with a somber and eerie atmosphere. With little frills the game features several puzzles which can make or break the player trying to solve them as a lot of thinking and intuition can be required. However, as puzzles go, it is rewarding to complete each segment and at last reach the ending moments of the game. For B0GWALK Labs' first serious project, it stands on its own legs and it's exciting what they may bring to the table in the future.

суть игры: на протяжении часа решаем 4 головоломо4ки, созданные бывшим смотрителем маяка. несмотря на всю забывчивость этого "гения", который нарочито всё обезопасил [spoiler](дабы никто так и не зажёг маяк, ага да:))[/spoiler], загадки предоставленные в его записках были достойными и необычными. жаль, что сюжет у игры просыпается только в её финале, но наверное головоломки так и работают, да?... визуальная составляющая игры достаточно приятная, несмотря на ужасную темень внутри самого маяка... [spoiler] всматривание в шакальные пиксели немного удручает :([/spoiler] также немного непонятно зачем разработчик искусственно пытался растянуть игру глупой ходьбой туда-сюда, ведь от возвратов её это не спасёт (игруля правда супер коротенькая...) а теперь перейдём к самому лучшему, что есть в этой игре, то что ждёт игрока после решения жутко сложных и непонятных головоломок - конец игры:) и я БЕЗУМНО рада, что у такой спокойной и немного меланхоличной и душной головоломки такая мощная и сюрреалистичная концовка. она действительно оправдала час решения загадок :) это было вау :) оно того стоило :) :) thank you :) :)

I went into this game with the expectations of similarities to The Call or other hit titles such Counter-Strike. But what I received far more chilling than I ever imagined. It took me 14 hours to solve all the puzzles and I used up 4 different notebooks to solve the "You know what" Puzzle. The final sequence shook my world and took me for a doozy. Nice and short puzzle game. One complaint though: locks separating the floors of the lighthouse were barely noticeable.

nice short puzzle game with a good atmosphere, i liked it a lot
