Is this Game Trying to Kill Me? is a textbook example of a great escape room game, with good puzzles and fitting graphics and also some story elements which adds more to the atmosphere. The game has really fitting graphics, dark but colorful but also somehow fitting to the retro style, same goes to the audio. Gameplay is fun, thanks to the puzzles which some adds complexity but they don't need out of game knowledge to them. I really enjoyed the "game in game" moments, as certain actions done in the game can also effect the shack the player is in. Story is a nice addition to the game, not really utilized but adds to the overall atmosphere. The game is advertised to be a horror game, however it's not as scary as you may think. It has a few moments, but nothing outstanding which I still enjoyed. My only criticism to this game is that few puzzles and their solution wasn't straight forward to get and what they unlock. Sometimes I got stuck at these parts, but I was able to find what I need to do next a few minutes after, but it this is not that big of a deal really. Also, I would have see more about the story or atleast make the boss fights bit more distinctive. If you looking for an okay puzzle game or a great escape room game, this game is for you and I can recommend to get it, even for the full price.

Seems like a fun game... interesting puzzles. However, too often the game just locks up/freezes. Only option is to completely close out the game. Would be a fun game if it wouldn't keep locking up on me.

I would recommend this game, it's a fun little puzzle game. The boss fights can be frustrating at first, as they're so jarring from the puzzle part of the game but it's a neat experience if you like escape rooms!

great little spooky game, not too difficult and not too easy

A fun bit of a puzzle game, played with someone on call and they helped get achievements on the first go so dunno on the replayability of it, but still good.
