I love the game, combining a mix of Osu! and Beatsaber in one made me love this game, because I really love both of the other games. The music sync is awesome, the design simple and easy to understand. You can even adjust the blocks to colors you like. I wanna edit, that you can download (almost) any kind of music, sadly not every song, but there's definitely a lot, which I can assure you, everyone can find something for themself to play with. If you have an further questions about the game for me to review, comment and I'll try to answer as I enjoy playing it a lot Second edit just a bit after.. Be aware of a specific bug in game.. Once you finish a level, there's a pretty good chance that the level will play again, but without the synced blocks to hit, as from my experience, there's no way to exit that bug other than escaping the level which won't save your progress
Really like it, but there are some things i think are needed:

Adding a setting for changing mouse sens
Adding a setting for turning parallax on/off
Adding a button to quick restart a song (R for example)
Getting rid of the console window that opens alonside the game (most people will just get spooked by it)
Making the play area bigger or adding a setting for it. There's a lot of unused space in the screen
Other than that, the gameplay is great and the game has a lot of improvement potential, let's see what the devs do with it.

this is a fun game, but it needs some improvement in the ui direction. fun game, good mechanic, excited to see what this becomes!
Can never play too many rhythm games, very fun and somewhat addicting. EXTENSIVE list of songs. Seems to be in very early versions yet so looking forward to all the updates and polishing, quite well turn out an amazing game in the long run. Will keep on playing it for sure!
Actually fun so far, Moments to learn... will let you know how long to master (if I ever do) Edit: Actually addictive....
It's a fun game, but I can't recommend it in it's current state. The 'levels' it has seem to be pulled from Beat Saber, and aren't optimised at all for playing with a mouse. Missing QOL features like pen support, a quick restart button, UI needs a revamp, seeing how long the song has left, just to name a few.
This is a really innovative game, combining OSU and beatsaber really works well. It's fun and challenging and I love the song collections and minimalist charm of the game while tingling the part of my brain that loves the smooth movement in beatsaber. That being said I do think it needs to be polished a little in some of its mechanics and graphics. Neon lights and menu music could go a long way! Really excited to see where this goes!
its quite a lovely game to play. tehre are multiple well or not so well known songs that you can download with an high focus on quality. the game is well made, but there are a few changes or addons that could be implemented: 1. vsync: if you select the option vsync in the settings and you reload the game you have to reselect it. quite unpleasing because the fullscreen function works with reloading. 2. the search engine: tehre are the advanced search options, but i would like a feature to save your search presets so you dont have to reselect "human and ai" every time you open the search option. you cant press enter after you yped in a title of a song, you have to click on the "search" button. 3. the ui. the ui could be made more lively and more pleasing to look at. just a suggestion but on 1440p the ui looks quite small in comprehension to the actual game. 4. the title: if i look at the game name in my library it says "neon beat" but if i look at the banner it says "neon exploding bread". might aswell be a mistake by steam... (I would also change the name because bread doesnt have much in common with a beatsaber like game :)) with these changes made, i would consider this lovely game a contestant for the next game awards!
The game is fun and considering 3 bucks is like half a sandwich nowadays, I would at least recommend getting this game. Despite clearly needing some work, it has a vast library of songs to play on which could keep you occupied for hours on end. Combining both Osu! and Beat Saber, it's really a test of fast reflexes and good aim while removing the need to constantly click. You kinda just slice through them 2D style, or at least I hoped I could. That's my biggest problem with this game. The 2D aspect removes all depth and makes it practically impossible at times which note comes first (if not at the same time if that's even possible). They're flat images, nothing is behind them, so seeing 3 notes come at the same time which you're supposed to slice all at once in Beat Saber becomes (nearly) impossible in this game. Some other downsides are the simplistic UI design, the lack of gimmicks, and how you can't remove songs (at least I didn't find out how to). For 3 bucks I wouldn't really let these minor issues affect your opinion too much, but it is something the developer should probably improve on. It's still very fun to play, but it really needs some more appeal.
This game takes inspiration from games like Beat Saber and Osu. There's definitely a great game in here! But as it stands now, it's lacking some very much needed features: - Ability to sort and filter the song browser list - Ability to sort and filter the downloaded songs - Ability to change the playing area (lots of screen space goes unused now) - R to quick restart the game - Seeing some indication of timing: how much of the song is left? - Some form of performance indication in the same vein as Osu (Super, Awesome, Fair, Good,...) - Ability to adjust penalty intensities such as lowered score meter or duration of screen wobble effect when hitting a red wall - Removing the extra console when booting up the game - Ability to increase the UI size for larger screens - Pen support Will add more when I play some more. Definitely give this game a try if you're into rhythm games. Keep up the good work!
