NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1

I'll recommend this because the characters are so incredibly cute and the animation and CG art are both fantastic. Writing and music are so-so, nothing remarkable. I do love the acoustic guitar themes though. Can't comment on the TL quality since I can't read JP, but I only saw a couple of typos and none really reduced the overall quality. My biggest complaint is a slight spoiler about H-scenes: [spoiler] the fact that Cacao only gets 1 H-scene is beyond criminal. She deserved so much more screen time for how adorable she was [/spoiler].

with the game having a cherubim, angels, demons, god, and heaven or hell elements, i gotta say i feel weird playing this while i have a picture of Jesus hanging on top of my PC. 8/10.

The art cg and characters’ sprite are all excellent, the emote system work surprisingly well even on low-tech laptop making every dialogue became dynamic and highly animated effects. The plot, on the other hand, was mediocre at best, lackluster proper romance development and jumped right into Sol sequences. Forced drama with plot convenience solutions, despite emphasizing on the taboo topics over and over, there weren’t any serious repercussion. Honestly speaking, the writer should have solely focused on the cutesy slice of life to heal tiring soul. From my personal experience in many episodic series, Vol 1 usually is the worst and the potential better sequel is still there so I will keep my hope since I do like the art style and the emote system.

看废萌就下载即玩，当拔作就打补丁，但剧情就是图一乐的水准。人设萌，LIve2D可动性好，角色骚话多多。遗憾的是HCG是静态的而且打了厚码，流程短，只有四个小时左右内容，介意慎入。

The Live2D is nice, but it does not apply to the h-scenes. They are not animated. Otherwise solid for what it is.

废萌作，剧情图一乐水准，但画风很可爱人设也很好，但是薄荷是真的可爱，兽耳我是真喜欢，daisuki薄荷nanodesu!!! 另外，画师夜ノみつき真的是在当亲女儿养了，画了好多薄荷的插图，兽耳是对的 剧情上感觉最后happyend有点突兀，然后这作纯爱不像纯爱后宫不像后宫的，嘛，就当兽耳娘不在乎了），我是5小时通关篇幅有点短

Lighthearted and entertaining novel that comes up with a bit of drama in the end (don't worry, happy end included). First of all, the game attracted me with a peculiar artstyle - I like the design of all characters. Yet, I should clarify it a bit: I like the CGs, not the interactive models - they are way too shabby and strange-looking, except for the Cacao's model - she is pretty nice and doesn't look like Mint's reskin. But I got used to them for the time being. As for the story - it is a little bit strange in the beginning (generic japanese-style "girl-in-distress-lying-fainted-near-MC's-apartment"), but it grows intense in the end. It contains a lot of religious references, but not that much to drive a player away form this VN. The characters are cute and well-written, yet their relationships seemed a little bit off, especially if the game has the 18+ patch installed - H-scenes occured in totally unpredictable points of the story, except for the last one. Nevertheless, I liked the game and I'm looking forward to seing the next part of the story. Give us more content with Cacao ^_^
