Gostei muito do jogo, é bonito e fofinho visualmente. E o fato do plataforma alternar entre 2d e 3d é algo que o torna mais interessante e divertido de jogar ainda! Recomendo para quem curte plataformas, speedrun e gatinhos!

The graphical style is low polygon with flat shading, with a cats and dogs theme. There is a starting back story involving a pack of dog pirates invading Nekoman's world in a sort of steampunk like ship from outer space. The theme of NGJ is purposely silly, and the player is controlling a heroic cat that is reminiscent of the cute Gizmo from Gremlins. The graphics in NGJ are nicely rendered, although maybe over saturated in color in some areas. The 2D/3D transitions are smooth and the animations are all clean. The sound and music are very well done; as well as any big-name developer could have done for this style of game. The options and controls are also very well designed and implemented. It is very simple to remap any of the controls, change volumes, or set graphics options. NGJ has a very professional design and feel to the way it was made. A lot of effort was put into making the game accessible, including casual play modes and an assist feature when even casual is too hard. This brings up a very important topic, that being the difficulty. Neko Ghost Jump is not easy. It is designed to require pretty good timing skills involving some sophisticated jumping. It also requires switching from 2D to 3D mode and back in the same level at critical points. The 3D mode becomes required when there is no way to get past an obstacle in 2D mode. Sometimes that is obvious, sometimes not. Trial and error is a big part of NGJ and the game warns players right at the beginning that it is not going to be easy and even harder if the player skips over the tutorial information on the first level. A player that is persistent enough to get past the first level will likely have died several dozen times learning the intricate timing of jump and super jump. NGJ has another play mode that is a wave-survival combat game. This has the player swinging a sword and dodging enemies in a place simply called "The Farm"; it seems like this is a practice area for fighting. NGJ also has a shop and a bank; the shop is apparently only for customization of the player character. The silly cat theme may not appeal to some players, but the underlying game is rock-solid, and as this is early access, still being worked on. Neko Ghost Jump isn't an easy game to play by any stretch, but definitely recommended for players that enjoy platform games requiring great timing and skill to rank in a speed run.
Its really a cool game! I recommend it

So far the has been really fun but I still need some polish. When you play with KB+M is very annoying to have to interact with the menus with the mouse when you don't use it on gameplay, all menus should be usable with Keyboard only. The game is poorly optimize (At least on Linux), even when I didn't use any tool to motorize, my GPU got very lousy while playing this game. Also, I don't know if I picked the wrong difficulty but action is hard from the beginning. I still recommend this game though, I has a catchy soundtrack and a fun core mechanic of changing between 2D and 3D (even when is kind of hard to get use to), also is fun how you HAVE TO FREAKING DIE (Not literally, just become a ghost) to fight enemies. Will update my review once I beat the game or it exists from EA
Wow what an awesome game! My family are definitely not gamers; but we received a steam gift card for Xmas, and stumbled upon this game! It has been so good for us to play. The cat is so cute. And even anyone of all ages can play!
I haven't played it all but so far it ain't bad. I've had quite a bit of fun dying over and over, I might hit the thousands before I get through the game. For some reason trying to get the fastest speed appeals to my ape brain. The game pushes you to do this anyway. To get three paws and move on to the boss level you have to take each level on two ways. You'll speed run it (at a decently challenging pace) and then have to go back and collect everything, then eviscerate all enemies. The 2D/3D concept is cool, although on most levels it usually just allows you an easier path. Where it has shined the best for me is at the first boss fight (the rest might be like it). You'll need to manage the two dimensions while also managing your character's body (when you faint to attack). It was a nice challenge. At first it'll suck, you'll miss platforms and die because you keep on getting near edges. But, after getting used to the controls it isn't too hard. I'd pick it up if I were you, and support the awesome dev!
Hey Everyone, AliceroseVtuber here. One of your dev passed by on my stream. I played a little more and here is me feedbacks. This is my personal opinion. Pros: - I really the simple and cute art design; - good game for speed run; - Levels are not too long which I appreciate as I can just do some levels and get some paws then stop and comeback later; - 2D and 3D cam mechanics is very fun and great; - Lots of customisation in the village and it makes the enemy coins useful and worth getting. Cons: - Lake of tutorials, guidance through out the game (getting to village, bosses, etc) - goes a bit for some cases with the next point; - Cannot see properly prompt. Maybe missing some pop and highlight of info given to the player in the UI to help him navigating through the game; - Controls does not feel that good. Moving is very sensible and makes it hard to be precise when jumping which gave me a little frustration needing to do it over and over again because I keep missing the platform. It makes also bosses and levels more difficult when it should not be one of the cause of the difficulty. Other: I got some bugs just so you know when getting all the coins at the same time Im getting the cat to rescue...the paws for the rescued cat does not appear and I cannot get it. I happened for two different level. The 2nd in the 1st world and another one in the desert. Conclusion: I still recommand the game because still I had fun and I know work will be done. I can't wait to play it again once the cons are less of a con xD haha Good luck and keep up the good work! Hope my feedbacks here and during the stream helpded you!
