I'm very early in the game, but it's enough to know I really like this 2D/3D platform game. Too many games hold your hand. Although this game does has a tutorial, you will find yourself dying plenty of times. This game does not insult your intelligence. You will have to figure out how to beat the level, and to see how you can eat it quicker. If you love speed running games, this one is for you. Another thing that I have noticed is the fun background music that is playing. It's so cute! I will edit my review after I have played some more!

Very fun and cute little game. 10/10 would recommend!
underrated af
So, first off, this game is not your average 2d pixel art platformer. It's much much better and worth the price for the content available. Mainly, because it doesn't use cheap pixel art, and also because there are a lot of cool mechanics. You were probably hooked on the whole switching between 2d and 3d camera thing, and let me tell you...it's really cool. The ghost form is really cool as well, it's basically used for combat, finding hidden coins and jumping on "ghost blocks" (they are not there in regular form). There is a lot you can do with the ghost though, like, jump for coins that seem out of reach and then immediately switch back to not take a death. You can also use it to scout ahead a bit, test some jumps before doing it with the regular body. Someone gave a negative review about controls, but I'm not sure what their problem was. The controls feel smooth and there are a lot of options to tweak settings to your liking with more coming from the developer it looks like. This isn't Mario (pick any) with its millions in budget. This isn't Celeste with its simple 2d pixel art/level design. I'm not knocking on any of those games here, but remember, this is a game that's not just 2d but also 3d. It's easier to make a lot of jumps in 2d, so make sure to switch it to 2d, but also enjoy the 3d for all its worth. You'll be switching anyway because of the puzzles in level design and some enemies seem to have weakpoints in different perspectives. Speaking of combat and enemies, it's probably one of the weaker aspects of the game, with speedrunning and puzzles being focused on more. Not to say that the boss fights aren't fun, they are! It's just that this isn't an action rpg or hacknslash type game, and you can definitely play it that way, but this is a puzzle platformer first and foremost with a lot of speedrunning aspects (which you can choose to ignore, more of that later). There are multiple "playstyles" in the game. Each seem to change certain default settings for you depending on what type of player you are. You can go Speedrun Mode and everything is fine-tuned for it (you should probably master the controls first though) which is the one I liked most, it primarily made everything faster, including switching perspectives, you don't get that cool cinematic switch you see in the trailer, you get some "trailer swipe" effect instead, still looks cool and it's smooth, Action Mode where I guess is if you just want to hack n slash your way to victory, or Casual Mode where there are A LOT of helpful Assist Setting things turned on. To me, I didn't like this mode much, because I couldn't fall off blocks sometimes, and the animation prevented any input from happening (this prevents people from slipping off edges if they get too close when jumping on single block let's say). But some people may like not being able to fall off. I just rather get used to the controls and then learn how to play the game that the developers created. There's also Custom, which lets you choose whatever settings you want. There's a lot to this game and I've barely touched it, there's the whole Village thing, where there's mini-games and also where you buy your clothes at the Shop. This looks to be a work in progress though. I'm definitely excited to see what they come up with in the future. If you're on the fence because of price or because you have no clue what you're getting into, don't be. It's so good when you start understanding how the game works. Have some patience, ask questions, the devs are very responsive. Join their Discord.
I played through the whole first set of levels up to and past the first boss fight. A few of the earlier levels I played through multiple times to try and get a better time. There's a lot of tricky platforming when you go for speed, which was a lot of fun to experiment with and try to get better at. I'm not a speed runner, but I appreciate the dedicated mode that lets you focus on that aspect. It's still early access, and there's some room for polish. Sometimes I get caught on an edge and kinda hang in the air for a second or two, and the 3D platforming can be a little finicky on really small blocks. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth, and would recommend this game to folks interested in puzzle/platforming/speed-running focused games. I'm looking forward to finishing the rest and seeing how the story plays out, and then trying to find some neat paths to get some better times.
Clean and polished visuals, runs very smoothly, bright and fun character and level designs! The challenge level is high, even in the introductory worlds, which might be due to the very fine controls. It tells you right away that while this game can be played with a keyboard, you’re going to have a much better time with a controller which has more sensitive input. With keyboard, I feel like I just zoom and fly all over the place and hit a difficulty wall at the very first boss. But with controller, it’s much less punishing if you look where you leap and take your time! So far, it’s a fun platformer with an interesting concept and good design and execution!
I live streamed it tonight and I really enjoyed the game and I'm don't play these types of games often, but the online leader board got me hooked from the very beginning. I could easily spend a lot of time on a single level trying to shave off milliseconds to climb higher on that list. On my pc the game ran great, great frame rate, no slowdown, seamless transition from 2d to 3d. Overall a nice little platformer that has some great replayability and potential especially with the village! I do recommend this, for anybody, the controls aren't hard to figure out and you'll be speed running in no time!!
Gostei muito do jogo, é bonito e fofinho visualmente. E o fato do plataforma alternar entre 2d e 3d é algo que o torna mais interessante e divertido de jogar ainda! Recomendo para quem curte plataformas, speedrun e gatinhos!
adore the art style and love the gameplay, i havent gotten to the second boss but the first one is tough enough for me to love it, good challenge but not infuriatingly hard
