Neither Cross Nor Crown

This is barely a positive for me. The art and atmosphere and items are awesome, level design was great, but the combat is so hard. Enemies can interrupt your attacks but you can't interrupt theirs, sometimes your kick attack doesn't trigger, just a lot of little quirks. I was abusing the quicksave so hard, quicksaving after every single encounter. The enemies need to either attack more slowly, or do a lot less damage.

Highly recommend getting this game if you're into weirder titles. The artstyle and music are extremely unique, the controls feel in line with the game vision and overall its a good time. Balancing in combat is a bit jank though and tbh a lot of encounters feel cheap and frustrating, especially if there are no heals. But overall very worth the small price tag!
