Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Ja tinha zerado esse game no Xbox, agora to jogando no PC... Sem dúvidas o melhor NFS dos atuais, gráficos absurdos, temática e etc. Me sinto jogando um NFS Carbon 2!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best, truest and purest game of the Need for speed franchise on Steam to date. Can't believe it's more than 10 years old already. This game served as a soft reboot of a series that tried many times to serve different flavors of racing to an ever increasing demographic of anything between toddlers with unsupervised access to a gaming console to car nerds and automotive enthusiasts that still live on their mom's basement and think 40 years old is still young. Racing in this game blends the handling of Most Wanted 2012 and Hot Pursuit, and for the first time it allows for customization (to some degree) so you can make the most out of modifications Mods and parts in this game are fairly easy to obtain if you're willing to go through the main story, which you can do in less than 10 hours ignoring grinding or getting the cars that you actually want to use. Customization feels nearly endless with tons of cool parts, the ability to pick liveries from the online community, and some of the nicest cars out there (including Ferraris). The main story or campaign is, well, something. You run a mix of events (generally circuit races or sprints) based around the concept behind each of the characters. One is a drifter, one loves to race, the other one is a mechanic, and there's "the" outlaw. For each category there's a "Boss", an overly-glazed motorsport or car-related public figure that drives a car you'll be able to obtain once you race against them. For some reason it feels somewhat reminiscing of the black list from the original Most Wanted, but way more cringy in some scenes. At least they used real people and not alien looking human models like the later games. The online community, although not much active nowadays, can still put up decent races and events if you ever feel bored, if you want to claim the mode related achievements or if you want to test your combos against actually competent opponents (be mindful that some geniuses will be using the late game Beck F1 hot rod thing, which is OP) If you have decent hardware (or can tolerate a bit of fan noise) please play this game on Ultra. Doesn't take much resources given its age and the visuals are amazing. I actually have to stress that out. There's collectibles in this game in the form of misc parts scattered around the map, places where you have to do donuts (360s) and "urbex" spots where you can take pictures of your car. Some of the shots in the game have an amazing vibe to it, and the landscapes really make the visuals stand out. While i've become quite fond of this game, of its visuals, the music, and what else, there's a few annoying things that stick out from the experience and you should know about -This game is always online. Part of the reason there's no "repack" for this game, and i really wish it wasn't that way. If you play games on a separate room or away from your router, the game will kick you out very frequently, which becomes really annoying if you're just trying to game in peace. Also, the server goes down for maintenance quite often, which again forces you out of the game if you're in it around 11 pm EST. Forget about this game if you're travelling or have no way of connecting to the internet :( -On top of being always online, you're forced to download the EA play client in order to run their anti cheat software, and you're also forced to make an EA account. Not a big fan of this company nor do i want to make an account, but i had to compromise if i wanted to play it. -The cops on this game are way too tame. There's mods out there that fix this, but assuming you don't want to go on deleting and replacing files on you game folder, you'll be waiting for pursuits to reach 5 stars for quite a while. And even then, if you have your Honda equipped with a fat turbo, they won't even get close to touching you. This also extends into the main races and the rest of the AI, but some of them are real fast (especially on Prestige mode or in Eddie's challenge) -There are duplicated items on the body shop meant to go over certain other body kits, but even if you can't install them, the game will let you buy them, making you lose your money if you're not careless. -There is a game crashing bug on the speed event "Business or Pleasure?" where after a certain checkpoint the game will just crash without reason. This also happens on multiple different speed events, and the lazybones at EA are not willing to patch something as simple as this. If you find this happening to you, go slow and stay off track. That worked for me, but it's still absolutely inexcusable for a game with this much time posted on the steam store. With this in mind, i would buy and replay this game again. On a more personal note, I've been wanting to play this game ever since it got released, but financial situations made it impossible to get back then. It took me almost 10 years to finally be able to play and enjoy it. And while some people will b*tch around saying this is the worst need for speed game, it actually is everything i expected it to be and a little bit more. Don't ever let anyone ever tell you that you can't do sh*t. Believe in yourself. Being able to drive the Hoonicorn V1 on this game felt magical, although getting the Mental Unblock achievement on keyboard is insanely hard. It's a shame there's a chance we won't see another need for speed like this ever again. Until then, I'll be enjoying this one before the servers shut down. #KB43VER
