Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game had potential, but its been abandoned and there are just better games that do this style of game better, this game is worth about 5$ and being sold for 30$ It feels unfinished there are only 2 characters and there are just better Rougelikes that feel finished
Really cool concept but its unfinished and has been abandoned by the developers

This game has so much potential and it’s only lacking because the devs abandoned it, and i want them to re visit it and give it another chance. Still having fun though, for me its worth the 7 dollars on sale.
It's not finished and it never will be (:
Its fun to play. But it makes me sad to think that it could have been so much more, if the developers hadn't left it behind so soon. I'd suggest getting it while its on sale, and if no multiplayer is a deal breaker for you then I would suggest not getting it unless you have friends that will play with you, because most of the community has already moved on.
I love this game. I was part of the QA team for it many, many years ago and after all this time, having worked on countless other games, this one has stuck with me and I always felt like it was special. I think it's a shame it isn't more well known and stopped being updated shortly after release. The creative director for the game "Dennis Detwiller" had "Currently creating my opus NECROPOLIS" on his LinkedIn but left the company after it released. Probably because it was his passion project but the company that owns it didn't see it make enough money right away to keep developing it. I doubt it'll ever be picked back up or get a sequel or anything. That being said, if you see it on sale, might as well give it a try and imagine what it could've been with a few years of updates.
Unfinished and abandoned. Gameplay is always the same. Definitely doesn't feel like a roguelike. So much wasted potential.
Could have been something really special, now completely abandoned and half-finished at best. If the price was significantly reduced I'd recommend Necropolis for its unique art style and for being a decent Souls-lite, but as it is now I unfortunately can't.
Such a shame it died.
