Have you ever wondered what mixing Doom 2016 with Metro 2033 and a bit of Fallout 4 would look like? That's exactly what Necromunda is. Don't get me wrong, it's not a negative or anything, it actually makes the game more than it is supposed to be. It's sort of like that Terminator Resistance game from a few years ago, extremely competent at working with the source material (Warhammer 40k), with great visuals (despite the lack of RT it's still stunning), but with some jankiness underneath. The negatives: - The story is...weak. You're a bounty hunter who had their comrades murdered by someone, so you're searching for the culprit, but end up starting a gang war...trust me, it sounds more interesting than it is. - Sound mixing can be bad at times, voices can be rather muffled during critical scenes, making the story even more uninteresting. - Difficulty spikes in some very random places, with insane amounts of enemies. I like hordes, but I could barely see sometimes due to the overwhelming amount of shooting + effects + movement. The bosses are also a hit or miss, especially the last two. - The side missions are very repetitive. - The game is a bit buggy sometimes. - It's mostly just shooting with maybe one or two puzzles placed in there. - The characters are meh. - Repetitive voice lines from NPCs - Lightning (weather) effects look horrible. Too strobe-y. The positives: + Insane art direction, working with the size and scale of W40k to a 100%. I think it's the best W40k FPS period just for this. + Huge levels. This goes hand in hand with the art direction. Usually, shooters are either open world, or take place in smaller locations...not this one. While the world isn't open, the levels sort of are. They're massive, with multiple ways how to approach targets. They're also loaded with treasures and ammo boxes (hidden like in Doom). + The music is awesome. While in many parts it is reminiscent of Mick Gordon's doom soundtrack, it's also combined with a bit of synthetic and electronic music in some places, almost having a Cyberpunk-like vibe. + RPG mechanics such as limited inventory management and cybertech upgrades are welcome. + You have a dog capable of rocketing towards an enemy and turning them into mist. Nothing more needs to be said here. + Some really awesome guns in here, like black hole generators? That and the bolters sound awesome. + High-octane action, with wall-running, a grappling hook, sliding, and more. With how big the game's levels are, both vertically and horizontally, you can guess how fun it is to traverse them with this sort of equipment. There are also some psychic powers available to the player, which are a bit boring compared to the movement options, honestly. All in all, I think that your enjoyment of the game might depend on many factors, such as the willingness to try something different, a bit more janky maybe. Anyone who enjoys messy, hardcore Doom-like shooters with enhanced movement and powers will enjoy this one though. 7/10 from a more objective standpoint. 8/10 because I'd love to see a sequel from Streum On.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the levels feel like Doom 3 and Quake. maze like, alternate paths and you get more IMMERSION if you turn off the enemy highlights and HUD more. you have to look for the enemy not just shoot an outline. I'm glad they make these options in games now. not just follow the dotting line the compass. mindless arrow pointing. it's rewarding to line up your shots with no cross hairs and HUD, etc. Picked this up for $10.99 or so.
The enemies all have hitscan and aimbot so while they want you to play this like it's doom, you have to cower behind a box the whole time It's unfortunate since the gun customization system is interesting as is the variety of weapons, the gameplay just isn't there due to conflicting systems Maybe it'd be better on easy mode so the enemies don't just murder you for free, but I don't care to find out if it'd become too easy as to be nonthreatening
Very fun movement shooter, on higher difficulties it can punish you for standing still; Got lots of character upgrades & gun customization, you move fast and are encouraged to keep moving while fighting; Pretty good campaign with solid story, a pretty replayable game with bounty missions, few bugs - nothing gamebreaking... Overall a good bang for your buck and I liked it enough to 100% it :D
Excuse me Mr. John Warhammer, there's jank on my junk! Necromunda: Hired Gun is a very, very uneven title. Full of bugs, weird design choices... but it looks so cool. And the gameplay is actually fun... when you're not clipping through objects or get stuck in a ceiling. Loved playing through this one even if it had some issues. It's a looter shooter which isn't that long and that actually works in it's favor. You play as Thomas The War Engine and your mission is simple. As a mercenary you're going to take on many jobs. Some are optional, others are not. I'm not going to lie to you, I was content with just playing through the storyline and I got what I wanted from this game. Some mindless fun shooting with cool weapons, nice music and goofy enemies. Sometimes I don't need a 10 out of 10 title. Sometimes you just want to play something that seems to be hanging on by a thread and it doesn't fail. This did not disappoint, but I hope the creators will actually take their jobs as game developers seriously from this point on.
A literal 7/10 Good shooter. Sounds good, runs good, graphics are good, gameplay is good, audio is good. Above average but nothing astonishing. I need to say that the WH40K ambience is very well done, uplifting the whole game a bit. Get it at a 75% (or better) discount and you will have 15 to 20 hours of good time.
clunky game sampah x siap
I will say the game looked good on YouTube, the character feels clunky, THE MECHANICS AND CONTROLLERS ARE ODD. The game seems like it belongs in the 2003 era by the way it plays. Seems very repetitive and weird, the story mode seems very generic as do the NPCs, the enemies are very repetitive as well, the are just there, completely generic. This game doesn't seem to belong in this franchise. I ought it as I am a HUGE fan of Space Marines but this game is TERRIBLE. I wish it had been better and perhaps it would have been if it had a better budget. The graphics seem very subpar but at least it gets almost 200 FPS on my setup on max settings. I likely won't be playing this game all the way through as the story and game play aren't immersive at all. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
