Games Workshop COULD have hired an actual experienced team to make this They COULD have given them more money and resources so they could actually finish the game But they didn't. I bought it for 10 bucks on sale and frankly the idea they think they can sell this for 50 is insane. Its so crude, so basic. This feels like a late alpha build not a full game. Then again Streum's last 40k game Space Hulk Deathwing wasn't even fully translated into English before they released it. The menus are poorly translated, execution animations inscrutable and the sound effects are all cheap stock sounds. It's the text book definition of minimum viable product. I enjoy the game, but it is in no way worth 50 dollars. It was probably barely worth 20 at launch.
Looks like the action video games that teenagers play in movies. Amazing game and fun to play but only worth the sale price of $5

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easily the "best" game from Streumon Studio. I say "best" because this is the only game they've made so far that you can play without needing to study it. Personally I prefer E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, but that requires the afformentioned curiculum before it starts to make sense and as a result, this game is easier to recommend without a gigantic asterisk.
At first I was a amazed at the swift movement, the expansive and highly detailed levels, and the cool dog companion. Then the problems started mounting. - Movement is really janky when it comes to wallrunning, because the level detail is always in the way - There is no depth to the combat - Tons of weapons, all of them basically the same - Story and missions feel like generic placeholders, just to glue combat arenas together - Everything shakes the camera: player movement, shooting, getting shot, explosions, moving environmental pieces, earthquakes. I do not suffer from motion sickness, but this game really tries its best to change that. - It has tons of loot and customization, but all of them are "3% increase of ..." stuff. There is no meaningful loot and since you don't get explanations, the numbers often have no meaning to you. (How much better is +6 Armor? How much damage am I even receiving? How much impact has +3 Loot?) - And that combines with the awful menus. Loot is not just mostly meaningless, it is also a chore to deal with. If it had a bit more variety in its gunplay and if it would stop shaking the player constantly, then it would be a mid-to-good-shooter that I would recommend. Sadly the problems really outweigh the charm. --- Personal things that I also disliked, that don't feel like they fit into the regular review. You have a dog companion and can buy upgrades for them. They all look so horrific, that it pained me to upgrade the dog. I understand this from the point of fitting into the 40K lore, but it didn't feel like an upgrade, but torture. Why would I subject my loyal companion to this?? For slightly better stats.... I guess. Didn't enjoy it. Again, I get the adherence to 40K lore, but why is 90% of this game drenched in Nazi themes, designs and aesthetics? Maybe the world of 40K just isn't for me, but for every cool piece of design I found, there were at least 2 things that were "badass nazi". And it isn't like Wolfenstein, where it's you against the Nazis. Here it is "everyone is scum, so nazis fit into the here", which feels yucky.
They BOTCHED this game for the following reasons 1. A warhammer game with little to no melee action. Yes you re supposed to use the augumented strength knife which has arguably the most hurrendous animations i ve seen in a fps game. Not vertical or horizontal but a weird 45 angle slow slashes. Thats it. No shove, heavy attacks, blocks. Thing looks like it made it into the game by accident instead of a feauture. Even left 4 dead 2 that s ages old does melee combat better. 2. Wannabe DOOM, While the movement is great they also copied the cheap invincibility glory kill tech only to have you look at some executions that rather made it out from fallout 4, Another thing that looked stucked in the beta and probably made it into the final product by accident 3. Unfathomably mediocre voice acting, story telling even for low life hive gangsters wannabe. You could picture in your head that every cinematic is some scene to a mod to a different videogame than a title of its own. I can swear that even the plasma pistol has stolen audio from the cod zombies ray gun. 4. The objectives don t seem to understand what kind of game you re supposed to be playing, Are you dominating or being hunted? No matter how hard you clear areas the game has a fetish for unlimited spawning of mobs in your backline while your ammo isn t unlimited. Sometimes you re supposed to run as if you re not already holding on just fine while in some sidemissions you re supposed to capture a zone in the very open with no cover in a game that s all about being on the move. Yes i know S tier missions are supposed to be difficult but asking you to hold still is litearally asking you to lose on purpose. This ain t space marine 2... Overall i got this game for 6 euros and my GOD it cannot be worth more if even that much. The only try i would suggest is rushing the main story and not even bother with the side missions.
After finishing space marine 2 I was all excited to dive deeper into 40k games. This was not it.
лучше чем darktide
Not sure why all the hate with this game. Its a pretty fun shooter with a really cool atmosphere. Game runs well, got stuck twice but aside from that, no major bugs with the gameplay. If you like Warhammer Dark tide then you'll probably like this game.
Game was inspiring all the way. Inspired me to rather read a book or do the dishes.
