Thumbs up. Having a blast with 2 friends. Make your hull thin or you will be a slug.
The game is in the very early stages of development and is practically unplayable. The inspiration from KSP is obvious, but unfortunately the build mechanics and gameplay don't come close to matching the original. The physics are sometimes highly questionable: for instance, I can build a 30-metre-long ship with a 0.1 mm-thick hull. The lack of mechanics and the tedious journey from A to B mean that it's not much fun. I have really tried to get on board with it. The idea of a KSP with an ocean scenario would have been amazing, but...
Make is so I can rebind the rotate button to something other than middle mouse pls
I was wrong. When I first made my review I made plenty of mistakes and tried to rush through the game and ended up blaming the game and not myself. This is a game where you gotta take your time and check the forum/workshop/community for help (and they will). And so I improved and got better with the help of the community on building. I would recommend playing the demo first to see if it clicks with you or not. The concept is very charming, little Nautikin guys building boats, planes, and vehicles to explore colorful islands. Sandbox building has some fun “just one more try” moments and the visuals are bright and cute. But I don't like the execution. The game isn’t in Early Access (released April 2025) but plays like it is. I think the campaign is weak, progression is too slow, and the islands get empty fast. The game has plenty of heart and potential, but the constant frustration killed it for me. Even with the developer calling me a kid on spring break lol, but at the end of the day this game just isn't for me.
if u like KSP and liked to explore kerbin, this is your game.
can we get HOTAS support?!
KSP walked so Nautikin Adventures can run
