The game may not be perfect, but it truly captures a unique “Gauley” essence. It’s a hilarious experience—I genuinely enjoyed every moment of it. You can also check out my full gameplay on my YouTube stream. Regarding pricing, it is currently set at $15 USD. For the Nepalese audience, I kindly request you to consider regional pricing, as currency conversion and wallet code purchases tend to increase the effective cost significantly. While I understand that bug fixes are ongoing, I’d like to share a few suggestions for future improvements: * The game felt even funnier than PUBG Alpha at times, which is a great strength—please continue building on that humor. * Enhancing facial expressions, sound control, and narrative depth would significantly improve immersion. * Adding radio/FM features in vehicles could make traveling more engaging. * Expanding character interaction—allowing players to perform more actions—would enrich gameplay. * Introducing new mechanics like bows and arrows or parkour elements (similar to Tomb Raider-style movement) could add variety. * The environment currently lacks domestic and wild animals; adding elements like cows and dogs would make the world feel more alive and authentic. * NPC behavior feels overly aggressive at times—being attacked by an entire village can feel frustrating. Balancing this would improve player experience. Additional suggestions: * Please consider adding trading cards and achievements. * I completed Story Mode and found it enjoyable; however, cutscenes felt abrupt and out of place. * Small details often define a great game—focusing on these finer aspects will elevate the overall quality. Overall, it’s a very fun and promising game with a strong foundation. With further refinement and attention to detail, it has the potential to become something truly special.
Been playing this since the itch.io days. Huge congratulations to Ashim Ji on the Steam release! So proud to see a Nepali game getting worldwide recognition. Overall rating: 10/10
Legit Unreal slop. Free assets used and the gameplay is so terrible with 30 fps even with a high spec pc. Missions are so random and no transiton or anything. Refunded within 22 minutes. Dont waste your time
A visually stunning indie experience that beautifully captures Nepal’s landscapes from terraced hills to quiet villages and temples. The game shines in its atmosphere and cultural authenticity, feeling more like a peaceful journey through Nepal. While gameplay and mechanics are still evolving (it’s in early access), the scenic world alone makes it worth exploring.
Great exploraation, this game has good potential. The game is still is beta version but it is very enjoyable. The story mode missions are fun.
Amateur attempt at a Just Cause/GTA Style game in Nepal. It's got some cool interactions. Definitely rough in it's current state but there is potential and the Dev is clearly competent.
Hatsoff to solo dev and volunteer voice actors that made this game possible, huge potential if done right in future, with proper planning, and teams. still bugs here and there, animations feel flunky like default animations, Vehicle physics could be improved, every vehicle feels lighter. Nice one Ashim Shakya, will be back once it's more ready, good on story mode, I'd suggest making strong foundation first, with animations, and bug fixes and overall physics. Nevertheless, Had a great experience.
Much better than before! The improvements are noticeable, and the game is really enjoyable now. Great work, and best wishes for your future games!
I have a great time playing Gauley. One of the things that impressed me the most is how beautifully the game showcases Nepal. The stunning mountains, flowing rivers, villages, and religious landmarks truly capture the country natural beauty and culture. The gameplay is enjoyable and relaxing. I especially loved exploring the different mountain regions and simply taking in the scenery. Sometimes I found myself stopping just to admire the views of it genuinely gives a calm and refreshing feeling..... almost like being there in person. The game has a lot of potential, and I am excited to see how it grows. I am hoping for plenty of new updates with more locations, features, and content very soon. I know a single developer is there. Thank you to the developer for creating such a beautiful experience. I definitely recommend giving Gauley a try. Thank You!!
fun to play. looking forward to new stories
