I've been playing nascar games for a while now. from the original nascar racing to iracing, ive played them all. Nascar 25 is a huge improvement over Nascar 21 ignition and in my opinion the heat series. Pros Competitive A.I that is fun to race against and keeps races entertaining All 4 main nascar series being included in the game Graphically looks great and adds immersion with the realisitic looks (for DLC owners) alot of cool paint schemes over the last year and while $30 is pretty expensive for the season pass which is just paint schemes i think its worth it The ability to see drivers ratings and what tracks they're best/worst at The A.I. is very customizeable which can change how races feel, same thing with being able to mess around with how drafting effects your nascar. driving physics are pretty good. They nailed that arcade/sim-ish feeling (cant speak on racing wheel feel as i havent tried Nascar 25 with it yet) Cons The Career mode feels repetitive and lacks ALOT of immersion, barely any cutscenes and its to easy to get the best parts and be competitive no ability to customize roster (would be fun to have the option to change up winners/losers in career mode paint booth still feels pretty lackluster compared to games like nascar 15 silly immersion breaking bugs (i was pitting in an arca car and the tire changers had cup car tires) No choose rule No DNFs If you or an A.I. wreck you start where your position was at the time the yellow flag came out Cautions will come out as soon as an A.I, wrecks but if you wreck it takes a while (makes the previous Con i mentioned a little more annoying) crash phyisics arent the greatest. Rarely do i see an incident involving more than 2 cars even at tracks like Daytona and Talladega Restarts are horrible for the most part, expect to loose at least 2-3 posititons overall I'd say the game is solid. its not the next NR2003 or Iracing and lacks some key components to be Regarded as one of the best nascar games of all time, but it is fun to play. i bought the base version and enjoyed it enough to buy the season pass. if you want an enjoyable controller friendly nascar game. this is the game.

Nascar 25 Is a much welcomed addition to PC Nascar gaming. I'm grateful the team at iRacing dropped this for the more casual crowd. It really is a lot of fun, and a bit of sim. It has a great mix of sim/arcade accessibility for most. Nascar 25 works flawlessly with my Fanatec wheel and pedal setup. No issues there. I find the AI more than competent and offline mode can be extremely satisfying. The Online can be really enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the game maturing with hopefully more added tracks and features in the future. Right now, I think its a very well done, enjoyable, approachable, competent, and exciting Nascar game. Its enjoyable ie: fun, and that's why I play games. Online has it's share of shameless drivers that have no idea how to race respectfully. You will get wrecked/walled intentionally by some, it's just a fact of online racing. But overall the online is good fun. I'm not sure I like the rating system as it currently is. And the game desperately needs Lobby and in game chat features, as well as in game and lobby Vote/Kick options to boot the drivers that intentionally wreck/crash others. All in all Nascar 25 is fun and enjoyable. A very welcomed addition to PC Nascar racing/gaming. it is a fun, competent, well executed, and satisfying Nascar PC game. Online/Multi player and Offline/single player. It think it has a bright future and I'm all in.
NASCAR 25 is a great first entry into NASCAR console gaming for iRacing. If you're looking for a racing sim; this is not it. This is a console racing game meant for casual, fun racing. The graphics and audio are great for a NASCAR game. The race day presentation is interesting and differs between which series you are running. The AI is competitive with plenty of sliders for customization. I enjoy playing with the AI set to 104 difficulty and running custom setups in career mode. They're difficult, but beatable. You can also set the AI super low and run away with the win. The career mode is a great building block for iRacing. NASCAR 25's career mode has quite a bit of depth with parts management, crew and staff members, and 4 different series to work your way through. My major complaint with the career mode is only being able to have one sponsor available at a time. If you sign a new sponsor, you lose your previous sponsor. The other major complaint I have is the paint booth. There are very limited shapes available to choose from, and you are limited to only 7 layers. There is no mirroring function, no flipping, no grouping, and no ability to share your schemes or designs with other players. There is no cross-play available for online play. This essentially has killed online for PC. There is also no local multiplayer, although I don't believe that is an issue for many PC users. I would recommend picking NASCAR 25 up if you're looking for a great NASCAR career mode experience with fun, competitive AI.
Its no Chase for the Cup but it beats what there has been. Must say, just did 10 seasons of it and it does get stale. Pretty much after season 3 its a straight grind for the Trophy. The gameplay however, you cant really mess it up much as its going in circles. I would like there to be more random drivers up front though. Seems like unless its a road course, you ae racing Larson, Byron, and Bell every race so that sorta sucks but on the other hand, wrecking Bubba every race does shake up the field some. Also, wouldn't mind a few more trophies to have something to go for. a 200 wins trophy? Maybe a Jimmie Johnson trophy for 7x trophy? A "DO IT FOR DALE" trophy where you have to rattle someone's cage a little at Bristol or something. For what it is, not bad. Don't go in there thinking you have iRacing or Assetto Corsa because you don't. It's not a sim sim game. If anything, I'd say its got the structure to grow as long as long as the right people with the right passion is behind it. My BIGGEST thing is that career mode is stale. However for a game that hasn't had a release in a few years, I am grateful for what we got.
bestes Nascar Spiel ever......alles funktioniert.....Reifenabnutzung und fuel abstimmen mit Einstellen der Rennlänge..perfekt kann man bei gelben Flaggen anhand der Gegner seine Boxenstrategie planen mit Reifenwechseln, Tankfüllung......alle 4 Nascar Klassen mit realen Autos und Namen....logos der Rennlocaion für Fans wichtig....ich bin einfach begeistert......leider fang ich grad erst den Karrierenmodus an und NAscar 26 steht vor der Tür...ich spiele auch sehr iracing gegen die K.I. , was mit Lenkrad einfach geil ist und Simulation pur..hier spiel ich am liebsten mit gamepad und meist 100 % Rennlänge...Leute die von früheren NAscar Spielen schwärmen und die besser finden als Nascar 25 können das nicht ernst meinen, reine Nostalgie
