The game looks really nice and the pixel art is solid. It’s clearly trying to be a tough platformer, which I don’t mind. But I had a pretty big issue with the controls, especially on controller. Movement and aiming are on the same stick, and it just doesn’t feel great in some situations. Like when you’re on a small platform with spikes everywhere and an enemy is diagonally in front of you, it gets really awkward. You can shoot left, right, or up, but trying to aim diagonally often ends up making you walk straight into danger instead. Getting hit also freezes you for a moment, which makes those situations even worse. I ran into the same problem on the first boss and honestly couldn’t get past it because I just couldn’t properly control where I was aiming while also trying not to die. I don’t really want to hate on it, especially since I got it for free, but the controls made it more frustrating than fun for me. With a better control setup, it could definitely feel a lot smoother.

The controls are abysmal, and the boss fights feel unfairly difficult. A major flaw is that enemies can hit you through locked, passable walls, but you can't hit them back. These cheap mechanics totally ruin the fun. Pass on this if you want a smooth, fair platformer.
