White Day: A Labyrinth Named School

⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠇⠘⠉⢄⣚⣛⣛⣛⣛⣛⡛⠷⣶⡘⡿⢎⠲⣬ ⣐⣖⠍⢻⣿⠟⢡⣤⠉⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢧⠙⠷⢀⡙⠧⠙ ⣿⣿⡟⣸⠏⢰⣿⡿⢰⣿⣿⣿⡟⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⠈⣷⣾⣿⣿⣦⡁ ⠛⠕⣡⣿⠀⡏⣿⡇⠸⢿⣿⡿⣨⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣰⡘⣿⢹⣿⣿⣿ ⣶⣿⣿⣿⠀⠀⣋⢱⣷⣶⣾⣷⣿⣭⣭⣝⣛⣻⣸⣷⡹⣾⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⠃⣸⠟⠛⠙⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢡⠏⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⠇⣴⠏⣴⣶⣤⣄⣹⣿⣿⣿⣿⠟⠛⠙⠻⢿⣾⠀⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⠿⠛⣀⣛⣘⠻⢿⣿⣿⡿⣿⣿⠿⠿⢶⣶⣤⣤⣀⣻⢸⣿⢿⣿ ⠏⣴⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⡦⡙⡿⢃⣩⡴⣶⣶⣶⣬⡝⠻⣿⡇⣾⡏⣼⣿ ⢰⠛⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣧⣡⣴⣫⣵⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣧⠙⢣⡟⢰⣿⣿ ⢸⡼⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⢻⡆⢸⢱⣿⣿⣿ ⡈⢧⡹⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢿⣿⣿⠟⡁⣸⠀⡎⢈⡙⢿⣿ ⣷⡄⢉⣫⠈⠻⢻⣿⣿⣿⣿⠟⠃⣠⣉⣠⢰⡷⠃⠀⢧⣾⣷⡈⣯

pretty good
Dommage.
A narrative experience with great art direct and engaging gameplay. Well worth the price.
Muy guay!

The Devs gave me a free key for me to play and cover the game on my channel but, as always, this will be an unbiased review. TL DR: Narin had the potential to be an amazing game, but sadly it's only a decent game. First, the gameplay: I love puzzle solving and walking around in horror games. Narin was fun to play, however, it holds your hand too much sometimes, and at the same time, it has parts where it tells you nothing. The characters are always repeating what you have to do in order to progress and multiple times. As for where it tells you nothing, there were two times I was stuck because the solution made no sense (waiting for a monster to move something out of my way, Narin not grabbing enough of an item first time and going back for seconds for...no reason?). I loved playing through it nonetheless, but I feel like unfortunately for less patient people, it might get annoying to hear Narin over explain what to do every time. Second, the plot. It started really strong but it fell apart after a while. VAGUE SPOILERS HERE I cannot feel bad for someone who tries to get Narin killed multiple times because of...yes, so I didn't care about their storyline in the slightest. It means that I didn't feel any sympathy towards them so their story fell flat to me. END OF SPOILERS Narin herself had an interesting plot as did the cat. The rest of the characters, not so much. There's also some things that were confusing and never cleared up (for example, are student A and B always the same characters even though they show up in completely different parts? Also, who's the other character and why were they there? No clue). Last but not least, the voice acting. I played the game with the English voice acting and while I give praise to the fact that an indie game has voice acting at all, Narin's English VA work is...very flat sadly. She barely displays any emotion at all, never sounds scared or actually sad. It's a shame because her voice is absolutely adorable and suits Narin, but it needs some emotion to it. No comments on the other VA since I only played the game once so I didn't hear their work. Maybe I was just expecting too much from the game because I really thought it would become one of my favourite indie horror games and then it didn't. I will still recommend Narin, it's still a fun game with a lot of love in it, but it saddens me that it could've been amazing and instead it's just decent, good at best. Will follow the Devs' works going forward though, there's a lot of potential and I'm excited to see where they go after Narin~
