"Life is like a waiting room, except people don't leave in the order they enter." Narcissu is a thought provoking visual novel series about terminal illness, living, dying, and the relationship between those leaving and those left behind. There are no miracles, no heroes, no villains in this story.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

游戏叫narcissus,神话里那个不可自拔恋上自己水中倒影的Narcissus(也是现在常见的水仙一词)。

I went into "Narcissu 10th Anniversary Project" expecting a collection of sad stories about people who are sick and dying. Indeed, that is what this VN is about, but I think it is much more than that as well. These are stories about regret, loneliness, love, friendship, faith, and acceptance. Stories about what people do with the little time they have. It is about simply wanting someone to understand you before it's too late.
Narcissu 1 and 2
These two are the heart of the entire series. The first one has such a strange atmosphere. Watching Setsumi and the protagonist leave the hospital and drive around, knowing what awaits them, gives the story a strange feeling and a constant sense of mystery. Of course, it's not a traditional road story where the destination matters. In this case, the journey itself is what matters. Narcissu 2 completely changes the way you look at the first game, especially by going back and showing us a younger Setsumi. Himeko's story also adds so much to the overall experience, and I really liked seeing more of her and her relationship with Setsumi. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3789763279
Himeko's Epilogue
After spending a few hours with Himeko and Setsumi, getting one more opportunity to see what happened around Himeko's story feels like a final goodbye. It's a short story, but I think it works really well as an epilogue to everything we experienced with these characters.
Narcissu: Zero
This one was my favorite of the additional stories. There were several moments where I got a feeling that reminded me a lot of "Clannad" (both the visual novel and the anime). I felt that throughout this entire part: in their relationship, those little moments between them, the cute romance, and, of course, the sad ending. I loved this part. If I had to choose only one story from the entire anthology to experience for the first time again, it would probably be Zero. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3800063700
A Little Iris
The strangest story in the anthology. Not in a bad way, but it does feel very different from Narcissu 1 and 2, Himeko's Epilogue, and Zero. It takes place in Medieval Europe and follows a princess who doesn't want to die and a warrior who doesn't want to live. Because of that, I didn't connect with it in quite the same way as I did with the main Narcissu stories. But it is still worth buying and reading. It's better to approach it as a separate story that belongs to the Narcissu universe, rather than expecting it to recreate the same atmosphere as the originals. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3801910255 Final thoughts: A very good Visual Novel that I recommend you buy and play. Be careful, though: a few sensitive themes are mentioned multiple times throughout the game, and a lot of sad things happen over and over again. Keep this in mind before buying or playing it. What does it mean to be alive when you know that you are going to die soon? I think that's the question that stays with you throughout Narcissu. Even when the stories are not directly about the same characters, they all approach that question in their own way. And that's probably what I liked the most about this anthology. It isn't simply a collection of sad stories. It's a collection of stories about people. Highly recommended.
straight peak. words cannot describe how great of a visual novel this is. It will bring a yet bittersweet, but motivating feeling to you. It will change your mindset, no matter what you are going through it is a game that is meant to stay on your mind, and bring some hope. Absolutely phenonmenal soundtrack, and pacing. Even as a novice in these novels, if you are just starting out, I highly reccomeend this. And no matter what, keeping smiling, keep laughing.
