This game is putrid. Great concept, horribly implemented. Program throws different "crises" at you and it seems to be totally random and without regard to your preparedness. For instance, I leave port with 86 days worth of water. 3 days in I get a decision card stating I'm running out of water...? Some of these random events are totally unrelated to what's going on on the ship. Just random tragedies which you CANNOT avoid. This game is a HOT MESS. I've played too long to get a refund but I assure you, I'll uninstall and never play again. It will be in "hidden games." SAVE YOUR MONEY.

なんで実績解除されないんだと思ったら開始するときに小さいチェックボタン入れて縛りプレイしないと実績解除されない ゲーム自体は捕鯨船をデカくしてモビーディックに復讐しようぜって話だけど小型ボートを増やせないと手数が増えなくてキツい

I really hate to give this game a bad review and I like most things about this game except the damn pirate battles. They are so un-fun its actually insane. Spent the last 5 hours over my week playing one ironman campaign where i got further than i ever have before. I was really enjoying the game. The first pirate battle i decide to do (After every single one of my previous campaigns has ended via pirate battles) and all the pirates target me and every hit is like 20 health and i die in one round and the campaign is over. Now I just dont think i can play this game anymore, there is no skill, it is all RNG based. The whale fights are fine, everything else is really fun but that just ruins the game for me.

There are almost no whaling games out there but luckily Nantucket exists and is a great game. It can be rough at first especially when you get tag teamed by whales who stun every attack but once you find your stride everything starts to come together. It's also fun the whole time even when you're being mollywhopped by a group of whales or sharks. If I have one complaint it's that the game takes just a little too long when turns are being played out and you can't increase the speed of the messages. The tutorial teaches you the game and is short but it really takes your hand and drags you through it without giving you a moments pause. It's effective tho and teaches you enough to play but leaves you to figure things out. Also real world knowledge of whaling in New England has been useful in finding whaling spots.

Me lo he pasado ya dos veces , y es de los mejores juegos de estrategia que he jugado. La temática es única(Creo que es el único que toca el tema de cazar ballenas como mecánica central) y las opciones de personalización(tanto de los marineros como del barco) están muy bien. Lo único malo que le veo es que en la parte final del juego el único reto que nos queda es el jefe final, ya que las misiones secundarias se vuelven demasiado fáciles y tenemos dinero de sobra para tener todo lo que queramos, pero gracias a que el juego es relativamente corto(en menos de 10 horas puedes completar todas las misiones importantes) no es problema. En general, esta de lujo, sobretodo si lo pillas en rebajas.

Ahab ออกล่าน้ำมันวาฬ ล่าปลาฉลาม จนถึงล่า โมบิล ดิค (มีระดับความยากตามวัยของปลา) young-legeand (โหดมาก) มีเนื้อเรื่องในเกมชวนให้ติดตาม รวมจนถึงอัพเกรดเรือของคุณเอง อ๋อลืมไป ระวังโจรสลัดในเกมด้วยที่คุณจะได้ต่อสู้ นอกจากนั้นยังมีอีเว้นท์สภาพอากาศภายในเกม เช่น พายุเอย น้ำวนเอย รวมทั้งอีเว้นท์ต่าง ที่จะเพึ่มทั้งบัฟตัวละครที่ดีเเล้วก็ไม่ดี (อ่านเเล้วเลือกให้ดีๆละ) DLC มีสองตัว ตัวเเรกเพึ่มเพลงเวลาออกเดินเรือตัวกัปตันจะร้องเพลงกับลูกเรือ ตัวที่สองโหมอคัตตอมเนื้อเรื่อง เลือกตัวละครตามใจตัวเอง ข้อเสีย ตัวหนังสือในเกมเล็กไปหน่อยเเอบอ่านลำบาก

There are a few things about this game that I find quite fun, authentic, and charming. That said, there's too much luck involved during battles. Too much randomness, caused by the use of dice (uncontrolled randomness with independent events) instead of, for example, cards (controlled randomness with variable probabilities due to dependent events).
