Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 12.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't believe the hype. This game is very far from anything i would consider worthwhile buying, but i guess it's too late for that since i bought it... At least you don't have to make that mistake. It is EXTREMELY boring and repetitive, and to put it bluntly, it just doesn't make sense. You have access to the crafting benches in the crafting menu from day dot, but you can't craft even a fraction of those work bench items until you go to ALL the biomes and get the necessary resources and materials to make the items. Want concrete? Well you can't get that from the first biome by knocking down buildings... no, you have to go to the wasteland area to get that. Once you are forced to go biome hopping, you will spend an inordinate amount of time running to these areas. Then you are forced to make a new base in every new region, because you can't make it back to your original base in time for nightfall, and every time you go into a new biome, the horde zombies at night now match the level of that newly accessed biome. So all the resources you spent hours collecting are basically worthless until you can find the biome where vehicle crafting becomes a thing so that you can get back to your original base and collect everything. But by this time, you have so many resources, that there really is no point to even going back to collect any of it. You need to chop inordinate amouints of trees down to build base structures and traps, which got old for me on day 1... In fact the whole game is unbelievably tedious and consists of a loop of 'kill zombies, open crates, kill more zombies, run back to base and drop off items, repeat, then chop down trees, mine and build your base for the horde night'. There are no quests, there is no direction, there is no incentive to keep going, aside from a desire to just get to the next biome. Additionally, you just end up with a boatload of items that are essentially useless until... wait for it... you can get to the other biomes where those items become useful. I think that the only reason there has been so much positive feedback on this game is because of the falling out between Jawoodle and 7D2D. People who watch his channel jumped ship when he did, and the hype grew from that. But it's just a big nothing burger. Wait until full release, because it's simply a hollow shell masquerading as a zombie survival game.

I’ve been looking for something that scratches the 7DTD itch for me! This is the first game (after trying dozens) that does the trick! Currently trying it out on the steamdeck and have liked what I see so far! My only major gripe is lack of player customization- I’m female and I want to play as one (and customize how she looks) Can’t wait to see what the future brings!
I understand this is Early Access, so I'm keeping that in mind while reviewing it. Pros * Plenty of materials are available early on, so gathering resources isn't too restrictive. * Save points are frequent and easy to reach. * The leveling and skill progression systems are interesting and give a sense of character growth. * Hunger and thirst are much less intrusive than in many other survival games. ## Cons * The game is very much a "trial by fire" experience. There are little to no tutorials, and you're thrown into the world without learning even the basics of crafting or survival mechanics. * Zombie spawns feel excessive. They often appear seemingly out of nowhere, sometimes even behind the player, making exploration feel more frustrating than challenging. * Crafting costs are difficult to justify. Why does a simple stone axe or pickaxe require **20 rocks**? It feels more tedious than immersive. * Building is unnecessarily difficult because there is no snapping system to help align structures. * Finding water is confusing due to the lack of obvious water sources, and obtaining food is frustrating because the constant zombie hordes leave very little room to actually gather supplies. At times, it feels like the world consists of nothing but you and endless zombies. * Backpack audio sounds like there is a disembodied ghost behind you. * Undead needs Audio queue should you wish to give an impending doom behind you or somehing. Conclusion The game has a good foundation and some genuinely interesting ideas, but it needs more polish before I can recommend it. I'll be keeping an eye on future updates and would happily give it another chance once the developers have refined the core gameplay experience. (Maybe add character customisation down the line?) But for now It's a not recommend.
The more I play the less I like it AT THIS EA STAGE. Seems rewarding at first, but everything is locked by artificially stopping you building until you have visited biomes which are literally hours apart. Just running from one biome to another will definitely take an in game day or an hour of real time and then you'll likely get one-hit killed by an artificial mutant. Not having access to create a vehicle makes this game design unplayable. An additional negative is every tiny tap knocks you to the ground and you refuse to get back up
Enjoying it so far, its got the old alpha feel of 7D2D.
We are used to "Early Access" games having a great many issues and understand that it is indeed a work in progress that we can at times actually work with the Devs to complete. That being said I don't feel this game is quite there yet. I watched some YouTubers exploring startup, crafting, building, Etc. and when done was still very confused. The first thing that all of the YouTubers I watched did was reassign keys as the keys assigned by the Devs are not what we normally see( F1 for Inventory instead of I = Inventory, Tab for Map instead of M = Map, Etc.), which sets them up for update conflicts. Making things worse is that fact that there are no guides from the other players or even something from the Devs to start you out. I could write pages along the same lines as everything feels like trying to eat soup with a full size garden shovel instead of a spoon, which again is to be somewhat expected from "Early Access" There are two things that make the game unplayable for me. The reticule is a pin point that constantly gets lost in the background and I can't find a way to adjust it despite having asked other players, Etc, Digging is way to hard. You have to crouch and R click on undefined blocks. I was going to ask for a refund, but feel that the game does show potential in the future, so will hold on to it. Do yourself a favor and hold onto your money until the game gets a bit further along.
I walked for 4 hours of REAL TIME and entered six different biomes. And I saw no end in sight. It is MASSIVE! This game is amazingly good for an Early Access title. Other developers would have released this quality level as a full 1.0 version. But the standards here are much higher. That both reassures and delights me. The game is addictive. Everything feels cohesive, and the procedurally generated world is massive. You can choose your difficulty level, making it perfect for both beginners and absolute pros. The firearms are brilliant. I like that there are different quality tiers and that you can improve your character with new skills as you level up. The zombies have levels, too; the last zombie I saw right before I died was level 476. These RPG elements feel so good, and the different quality tiers make you crave more and better loot! I can recommend it 100%; anyone who loved *7 Days* will quickly fall in love with this game as well. There are an incredible number of possibilities, and I’m really excited to see what’s coming next. Hopefully, new characters, too. So far, only the Scavenger is truly interesting. The Mechanic has a skill cap that makes him useless in the endgame, and the Huntress—despite her increased bow damage—quickly falls behind in DPS compared to firearms and melee combat.
In my honest opinion, this game just wasn't ready for Early Access. Almost every feature feels clunky at the moment, and the performance is terrible. Having said that, there's clearly something really good underneath all the issues. Once the game is in a better state and has had some proper optimisation and polish, I genuinely think it has the potential to be a 7 Days to Die killer. I really wish Steam had a "Meh" or neutral option rather than forcing you to either recommend or not recommend a game. Because of that, I'm having to give it a Not Recommended for now. I'll come back and amend this review as updates come out, because I absolutely think there's a good game here. It just isn't there yet.
So I stopped playing this game after about an hour. There's definitely some quality of life changes that need to be made (simple things like not being able to use your scroll wheel for your toolbelt, or idk having a tutorial or handbook or something, and not just rely on the players already knowing how most video games work, while not actually adhering to how most video games work). The thing that made me quit the game, or rather several things, were: A) Multiplayer isn't a thing yet but you have to MANUALLY pause the game even after hitting ESC (the usual, universal pause button for single player games), which takes you to the options and settings menu. It says "Pause" on the screen there, but I figured it meant, hey, the game is paused. It's not. You can and will be hunted and killed on what should be a pause screen. B) Apparently zombies just know where you are at night no matter what your character level or game stage is at. I was hunted, repeatedly, by a big, fast, mutated zombie who killed me in about two hits. This happened 5 times, even when I was quietly crouched in an enclosed space during the night time. Same mutated zombie every time. C) You get a lot of perks. This is (usually!) a really good thing. Except you don't get time to upgrade your character without a zombie finding and attacking you even if you've cleared out the immediate area. Maybe I did something wrong and pissed off one specific zombie by just existing, but being ruthlessly hunted by a hulking mutated zombie within minutes of respawning DEFINITELY turned me off to this game. Maybe once it becomes multiplayer and some kinks are worked out, I'll considering playing the game again, but until then, I am 100% not. This very well could come down to "git gud", but I didn't feel like being hunted repeatedly by an obnoxiously powerful zombie early game is fair. Side note: me and my friend bought this game at the same time and played for the same amount of time, he changed a couple settings around in his and didn't encounter any mutated zombies at all. I don't feel like you should have to go into the settings and mess around the first time you play the game just to have a chance of surviving. It might've been different if there was a tutorial of some kind, but there isn't. You have to rely on knowing how the game works before you even go into it. It's just not great game design. I will say, I do REALLY like the perks/skills system. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. I really want to like this game. But I think until multiplayer becomes a thing, I'm just gonna shelf the game and hope it gets some good improvements to it.
