NAMCO MUSEUM ARCHIVES Vol 2

I really wish these weren't NES ports. They're good enough for being the only versions of these games on Steam, but I'd love to play the arcade versions of Gaplus and Dig Dug 2 again.

Just the NES games with a really poor emulator. Skip this one.

I hate it.

It was great until it suddenly stopped working last week. A week of troubleshooting hasn't helped at all. I've re-installed the game. Re-installed my video drivers. Online searches turn up nothing. 19 years on steam and this is the first time a game has died on me.

Works well with Steam Deck, although there is still no in-game option to exit. Namco is back, with another "museum" that doesn't museum, and a collection of NES/Famicom games, many of which very much could be offered in better (original arcade) versions but just isn't. Emulation continues to be fine, if a bit unremarkable. Fortunately they appear to have listened to complaints about the difficulty of the achievements in the original game, as most of these achievements are much more reasonable and easier to get. The game selection this time out is a little odder, though. In addition to the expected sequels, much odder is the decision to include games originally created by Nihon Falcom (Legacy of the Wizard, part of the Dragon Slayer series) and Game Freak (Mendel Palace). Overall, this is another collection where the main appeal is to people who have a nostalgic connection to this era of gaming. Because if you're coming here looking for a specific game, there is probably a better (arcade version) option out there for you.

ドラスレⅣが遊びたくて購入。懐かしいな…この雰囲気（しみじみ もう40年弱前のゲームだけど、（懐かしさ補正もあるのか）とても楽しい。 このソフト全体としては、他に遊びたいタイトルがないのが残念でした。 またゲームを終わらせる（デスクトップ画面に戻る）方法が分かりにくい。 ゲーム全体のタイトルからでも戻れるように、ぜひ改善してほしい。
